I have had 2 louise tyres fail on me after the originals failed, then got a set of jconcept magmas, put tape around the foams and have had many many packs with them and they have been faultless, would say they are better than the louise tyres for lasting

Them Jconcepts look well mean 😃 964 grams a wheel 😵 but suppose that's the price for mean ass wheels that take a beating, going weigh the stock ones tonight see what they are.

Stock wheels and tyres are 604g each they seem to vary in weight because the foams are disintegrating at a different rate per wheel and all I get out of one is white fluff dust when I squeeze the tyre 🤣

Closest to stock wheel weight I can find so far are these 680g I think, cannot find the spec sheet where I found that out 🙈.

Hello 😃,

My tyre foams are ****ed been out about 5 times with the X maxx and the foams are shot 🙄, bone dry days no crap got in them just started to fall apart inside the tyre 🙈.

I will get round to un gluing the stock set and putting my own foams in and keep them as spares.

Don't feel like throwing money at another pair of traxxas kit and the same happing again, so what wheels / tyres do you guys run? and what weight are they as I am trying keep this big ol'thing as light as I can.

Im running CYCLONE MFT - bought them 2024/03 - no probs so far.

Hello 👋,

I have been reading up on X Maxx hardened steel spurs and seems GDS make good ones but I was wondering where to get GDS spur gears from as I can only find a uk ebay seller but dont know if they are legit because seems imported from china and we all know that place is full of knock offs 🫤. Anyone know of a seller they have used before to get them off ?

Open to suggestions If anyone has any alternatives to GDS I'll try them as well hoping find some that last 😀.

Cheers
