If it isn't a 1/10th Electric Stadium I'm not intrested. Nick Posted July 1, 2006 Author Share Posted July 1, 2006 Yep, sorry, should of explained. The plastic gearbox and the meshing, I found pretty poor. It would slip. I tried washers and it just mushed up the plastic even more, the motor would slip and strip spurs. It wasn't to good, when jumping and dropping it about. Two motors, lower it easily, cheap Or a TL01b with Twin detonator wheels. I haven't had any trouble with mine It doesn't matter how reliable and durable they are to some people, many just see them as beginners car with no use to that advanced hobbyist (we can both agree that's not true ). You can't even argue that they are slow, or that they handle badly. EDIT: and they have a poor range of upmarket stadium trucks... Out of them the best is probably the T4 becuase Losi parts are hard to come by in the UK and you already said you didnt like the rustler. There is also the Duratrax evader, but that is even harder to get parts for. Depends what type of grass, if its cut short, then they're fine but if its longer youll lose a bit of speed. If your looking for a cheapish buggy, take a look at the Academy ones, they're good pieces of kit, especially the pro one. And theyre also 4wd. If I was to put a powerful motor in, the drive train would need a looking over. So not much good if I can't upgrade just the drivetrain.
