Took the mini Mojave out for its first proper run.  Loads of fun, and love how it looks and drives.

My first clipless body and can't say I am a fan as it was tricky to remove once I hit lvc.  The 2200Mah batteries also drained pretty quick but I was full throttle most of the time 🤣

I’ve got a few clipless bodies now and have to say the mojave grom is the best one!

Got the pinion off the X Maxx motor took my time with the soldering iron warming up the pinion etc and didn't strip a grub screw which I am happy about because I put locktight on the grub screw and motor shaft but it all came off without much hassle 😀.

A few weeks back I thought it would be a nice idea to make my own ESC tray for the micro B so I could fit a cheap brushless system in it. After many hours I finally got my design down, soldered everything together to find the receiver is knackered. It definitely worked before so maybe I touched the wrong bit with my soldering iron? I’ve got one more micro receiver so will have another go tomorrow.

Went to my local spot for a quick session / shakedown. The rs4 performed perfectly but its got me wanting more. Im gonna play with different motors and / or gearing and see what I can get to without making it unstable.

My infraction put a smile on my face as its like my  maverick truck but on steroids. Im not even using 50% throttle on it. Can't lie as much as I love it its fully wasted on me so im more than like gonna sell it as a roller and actually use the cars that I have

Went out with a mate to test these JetKo belted wheels. Im well impressed!

The way they kept the buggy planted and put the power down was unreal

I have been rocking the proline badlands on my Maxx for past few years and they have held up great 🙂. If only one has blown see if any RC breakers have any in stock might be cheaper to get two like new ones if your happy with the back flips.

An early run of the Big Rock.  Got there early to beat all the dog walkers and it was fantastic.

Was a lot of fun and I always forget how good this truck is.  I also forgot that it was a shakedown until part way through of the GPM alloy diff case I fitted in winter, but all seemed good even with lots of wheelies to stress it out

Today....I am grafting in a replacement 6mm coreless motor to see if I can use generic tiny motors to replace failed tail rotors on Blade mSR helis. They eat them for fun, ans these generic units are available for around £2 a time.

Also, sorted the initial shaking problem with the Esky Honeybee .... and then wrecked it on a testflight. Was probably windier than was ideal, and it ended up getting flipped by a sudden gust. Snapped rotor blade and busted blade grips. Back to the E-Bay parts hunt. Don;t think anything else was damaged... but this is significantly less durable than my micros.

Have also been looking at my pile of old Savage parts with a view to putting together a chassis to pop in a 26cc CY 4 bolt motor in to drive a centre diff with output to Savage front and rear units. Just looking at the best way to integrate a mod 1.5 spur onto a 1/8 diff case. The diff internals will be possibly be locked, as I am not sure if I want an open centre diff ... but this is something I have always wanted to make. Custom chassis plates will be needed.

get your own bike 🤣

🤣

I did have a 125 and was about to get my full license but COVID and Russia happened which meant I had to change my plans unfortunately, though I might try and get it sorted later in the year.
