What did you do to your model today?

If your going start using thread lock only use a little bit as too much will make it a bugger to get the screw out 🙈 oh and only use it metal into metal as I believe it doesn't react well in plastic. You can buy plastic thread lock but it was crazy expensive last time I looked.

Ahh thanks for that, thankfully it's metal to metal, so the standard shall be what I pick up.

More breaking props, only two this time.

Hit another tree or two, got stuck in a tree.

Having loads of fun though.

I love seeing drone footage.

The speed of them and the dexterity too, just fantastic.

Fixed the 124016 which lost rear wheel drive under power from the trip to the beach.

Bought some 'upgraded' metal diffs but one of them doesn't seem to work properly and even with stripping it down I can't see why.

Equally, I stripped the original broken one down and can't see any breakages but just doesn't work smoothly and keeps jamming even with several rebuilds!?

Makes me wish I had the LCRacing version of this beach buggy, but they have seemingly stopped making it.

Anyway, I got it going and ended up just replacing the rear diff and added some lithium grease to the front.  No gaskets in these so hopefully the grease will stay in.

Bloody nora that's how you do it! , why blow one diff when you can take all three out 🙃

I can feel your pain as the front diff on my dad's crawler started clicking an hour into the outing yesterday, didn't stop him enjoying himself but after 5 hours of abuse you could spin the front with next to no resistance 😆. I shall be stripping it down at some point and showing him the destruction he has caused!
