Popular Post steephill
First flight outside with my tinyhawk 3 freestyle. Changed the battery connector to a xt30 to run a single 2s lipo. Loads more power than the tinyhawk I've been learning with.
steephill
Lost it yesterday ☹️ TinyHawk down... It was my fault 🤦
steephill
Kinda broke two quads. I've been using horizon and acro mode, immense fun. One of the latest things I've been practising is rolls, flips and dives. So the tinyhawk ended up in the pond. Heard my missus shout my name with concern and heard the plop so it knew it was in the pond. That's now drying for a few days🫰. Hopefully the video will be amusing. And the tinyhawk freestyle has broken the nylon bolts holding the flight controller, so I'm waiting on parts for that. That's bounced off lots of stuff, so it's no wonder.

MrCake
Took the Kagama to the woods. Lots of fun until it did a small cartwheel which resulted in an odd clicking sound. All felt fine when static so drove for another minute before the rear diff broke! Thought these Corally diffs were fairly bullet proof. 1
steephill
@MrCake sometimes it's luck of the draw, a bad / awkward landing and something breaks. Depends on how how well the diff was setup. Get it stripped and see what the damage is. Mint wheelie in the picture
Partydaz
Did my Kagama in yesterday as well 🙈. Full throttle landings are not good I know this but how am I suppose to save it while it nose dives into the ground 😆. I kept timing the jumps wrong and instead of letting it nose dive and roll on the front wheels I kept slamming the throttle to get the front up but always too late, full load on the front wheels for about 20mins on and off gave me a one snapped front CVD pin 👍 small price to pay for the enjoyment the truck gave me 😃. Just need to find some pins now to fit 🤔
Popular Post leongordon234
Got my fleet of savage xs out and continued to build them out of the parts I have The main one I use has been clogging alot, hesitant at lower throttle Took the motor out and the shaft felt very rough Took it apart and found the rotor had seen better days 😂 Swapped out another motor from the collection and was good to go again Re Glued a few sets of wheels Rebuilt a central gearbox Was a good afternoon tinkering as haven't touched any rcs for around 4 months Wont let me add photos as they are too big 😭
bunnie
Went to my local spot to try my hpi e10. I've put on different drift wheels and a body to suit as they too wide for the one that came with it. I forgot how hard drifting is but i enjoyed it much more than when i tried in the past. I Had to use a nimh though i ain't soldered on a xt90 yet. Nimh shud be banned 😩

MrCake
Finally got around to looking at what broke in the Kagama a few weeks back. Initially I thought it was something in the rear diff but that was fine. Moved to the centre diff and I think I can spot a small issue.
Stormbringer
Yep that would do it
steephill
Practicing again indoors with my mobula 7. I love this little quad. A lot more agile than the tinyhawk. Managed to crack another frame. They do take a fair bit of abuse, and at £2.50 well cheap to replace.

Popular Post MrCake
Stripped and cleaned the diff ready for repair when the gear set arrives.
Partydaz
Updated the drive cups ( think that is what they are called ) in the Syncro 4, the original ones are worn out after a summer of abuse plus the drive shafts pins are like sharks teeth so swapped them as well 🙂 Now it doesn't sound like a bag of spanners rattling about when it's ripping around 😆 Edited October 30 by Partydaz
