Partydaz
Finally got around to tidying up the motor wires and soldering new bullets on the wires 😃. Yes the white cable tie bothers me as well, I have no black ones left 🙄 1
Popular Post Partydaz
Also made a little rock crawling section in the garden seeing how the sun popped out for a bit 🙂.
Popular Post Partydaz
Wanted to see how stealthy the little crawler is and attempted to sneak up on the Dark Destroyer how resides upon the great steps of ancient temple of summer hoose ( warning following pictures may contain scenes of cat pesting ) 😅. He did get a treat delivery service after as a way of saying sorry 😁 3

wombat
Fitted new servo, servo saver and hex assemblies to the typhon, set up and fitted a set of desert lizards to the Injora rock buggy, modified the steering linkage on the buggy made up out of bits, then tidied up the tool box and all the parts boxes 🤔

Popular Post wombat
Tried the rock buggy out at the local crawler course with the newly fitted desert lizard shocks, couldn't believe the difference, would recommend these for rock crawling, going to fit some to all my crawlers when funds allow 🤔 As a fellow club member said, why have a crawler that you've spent a lot of money on, then fit a set of £15 shocks on it😄

Run them upside down, minimises the chance of them leaking. 3

MrCake
Took the LC Rally to a spot I have used quite a few times. Was brilliant for about 10 minutes before I grabbed the car to check motor temps and my nostrils picked up a strong scent of dog mess 😭 Didn't have any wet wipes or any kind of liquid on me so that ended play. Just hosed the hell out of it, and applied a liberal coating of GT85.

Popular Post 300bhp/ton
Eventually got round to putting some batteries in my Kyosho Mini Z…. Bought more for show than using. Well couldn’t not really considering this is my daily. Then went a little retro re-fitting an LRP v7.1 ESC and modified motor to my old racing Losi. Then this evening decided to go a little more retro… Also took the Mad Bull out earlier. Which went well until the servo horn snapped. All fixed now and decided to swap the motor over too.
wombat
@300bhp/ton, love the daily, had jimnys for years, when I went for the new model was told there was a year wait, so bought a swift sport zc33s instead 1
steephill
Gave the fpv add on a test for my radiolink rc8x. Really easy to setup. Camera runs a 1s battery, the aerial thingy plugs straight into the transmitter. You can use your phone or split screen on the display. I'm going to try and get it on one of the crawlers.

steephill
@Lone-wolf I had a look on YouTube this morning, found a good video showing setup. I can connect my phone to rc8x, I've already got the mount. And with the app record video. I'm really impressed with the radiolink rc8x. Popular Post bunnie
Went out for a little shake down session and glad I did as so many things didn't go to plan but all will be sorted before I go to bed as I won't sleep unless it all done
Skyesgaming
So we took my little monster truck out yesterday afternoon to just see how I would take to the whole RC cars thing. Like maybe 10 minutes in, on the deadest street that you could ever be on, it got run over by a student driver and instructor. - Everything is okay! It was just a really big shock. 1
