wombat
My other half has no interest in rc stuff, but keeps telling me to go out and use them as it gets me out of her way. Only time she objects is if something wants doing in the house or garden, i give rc stuff prority 😀
Popular Post wolfie1
The Traxxas Slayer was looking a bit thrashed and bashed and thought i would give it a bit of a tidy up, wasnt willing to pay the price for a new genuine shell and wheels as it really doesnt get used too much these days, so onto aliexpress i went, got a short course shell delivered to me for the grand total of £13.21 and a set of short course wheels and tyres which had different sized hexes to fit lots of stuff which is quite a nice touch i thought for £17.37, the end result is not too bad at all of i dont say so myself especially for the price!

Stormbringer
Something about the old Kyosho trucks My son had the tracker a 2wd 1 that was great fun but top heavy

The original 'friction dampers' were truly awful so I upgraded to oil-filled dampers. I found the original receipts for the Kyosho Option House Gold shock absorbers. They were 20.40 GBP for a set of 2, so a total of 81.60 for the whole vehicle. That was a lot of money in 1991! Unfortunately, this only partially resolved the design issues with this vehicle. It was riddled with design flaws that rather spoilt my enjoyment and I always wished I'd bought a Clod Buster instead. However, looking back at it now, it is an interesting vehicle and quite rare now I suspect.

It was almost impossible to drive in a straight line because the steering servo was weak and as soon as any wheel hit a bump, it would affect the steering.
