What did you do to your model today?

Stuck a new rear diff/bulkhead in the Mini Revo, ready to list it for sale as I dont use it. Not going to list it till @everclear1984’s sells though….

 

 

Also tried some speed runs with the E Revo  This is off road….

 

 

However, a nasty cartwheel stopped play. Broke the rear brace (alloy one ordered). Also popped a a CVD but think its just popped out nothings broke. 
 

Also used the Sledge, its much faster with the new gearing and Max 6, but the front tyres are starting to blow off…..

Don't hold off listing it on my account mate. I actually planned on taking mine out today, I got as far as charging the battery 🤣

Fitted front shackles and the light guards that came yesterday

stopped the grasshopper 2 gear box slapping back and forward by locking the pivot grooves with some random nuts and bolts.

Doesn’t that reduce the “flex” the rear axle has?

yep but stops the gearbox slamming back and forwards and the back suspension doesnt appear to move any ways when im driving it 🙂

Fitted the rear mudflaps but had to bodge it as i couldnt get the supplied brackets to fit 

looks like they could be for an aftermarket rear bumper  which im waiting on now

Yes, 2 of them which are around 25 years old!

Those kits turn into nice models and i think you can still get them

Trimmed the wheel arches on the knightrunner shell so that they (mostly) clear the bigger class 1 tyres I’m planning on running with it. 
 

 

 

I’ve also printed out a set of the knight customs high clearance fenders but I can’t decide if I prefer it more with these fitted or not. Suspect I won’t be able to say for certain until things are painted when it will be much trickier to correctly position the mounting holes.

 

 

 

What do you lot think? With or without?
