.AJ.
Yeah, it’s the same diameter as a coke can but about 30mm longer. I was running it on 12s and the rotor decided it didn’t like being in one piece anymore 😂😂😂

Popular Post .AJ.
Bought a new 90w mains soldering iron ready to solder up the big QS8 connectors, I made a charge lead up and it soldered the 12awg without breaking sweat, I reckon it will handle the 8awg wire on my esc with no issues 👍 The solder that came with it is decent as well, but I’ve also found this stuff Core RC now sells is really good and easy available

Popular Post Kpowell911
So the Stampede I bought back had a worn grub screw in the pinion. I managed to get it out, new pinion. Job done. Put it back together. However it wouldnt roll perfectly. It was almost as if the motor shaft was slightly bent and every roll it would slow start to bind and then loosen at the same point every rotation. Took the motor out, it was fine and the issue was still there with no motor installed. Presumed it was a dodgy spur, nope. Bent layshaft? No. Bent drive shaft? No. Bearing issue? No. Rear diff/drive shafts were fine. I traced the issue down to the front diff. Stripped it all down, not a single issue found? Re built it with fresh grease, truck is now perfect. No parts replaced or anything. Guessing the bulkhead may have been screwed together too tight on one side nicking the diff. Either way, sorted, with no cost, just a 5 minute job taking 1 hour 30…. 2

I absolutely loved that stampede, looked absolutely awesome with the trenchers and that bodyshell. But i was just breaking it every single time I was using it. The smallest things everytime, but I think I was just expecting it to bash like my arrma rc's I had at the time.
