I decided to fit the cheap ebay oil shocks to the TT02, the springs were way to stiff so i swapped out the stock Tam ones from the friction dampers, not overly happy but will be better than stock, if i decide to keep the Tam i may get fastrax ones at a later date

I wa thinking exactly the same. Would sort out that annoying dog that chases mine though.

Made lots of holes in a shell and put things in them.

I thought the other day that your Avi looked familiar 😂

Second time today I’ve realised that I follow someone from here on Instagram because they posted pics of really distinctive cars.

Started fitting the extra lights to the MN99, it will have indicators that come on with steering input, headlights, rear lights, additional front lights that come on with throttle input and some interior blue lights in the dash.

Tested the Scorched RC inner fenders yesterday after the rain, really impressed with them as it stopped pretty all the water getting all over the chassis let alone dirt/stones. The only issue issue is that I now think I have to put some holes in the body to get some airflow through as it was on the warm side which I was expecting anyway. Though AVC still seems to heat up the electrics considerably more when you have it active, so apart from if I'm doing speed runs I'll have to make sure it's turned all the down/off.

Some positives, some negatives today.

I had planned to use a VSe chassis on my Hyper 7e, but I didn't realise that the gearbox mounts had changed. Ah well..

So Plan B is to modify the existing chassis, and use some carbon sheet to cover the holes left from the conversion:

I need to buy a new countersink tool, but have mounted the with normal bolts for the moment.

I will be trimming my carbon servo tray down to size:
