Well, not done yet, but I "totally accidentally" bought some more upgrades for my Trx4m defender.

Have gone for the high trail kit, a different bumper option and a few other bits.

Hopefully won't take too long to arrive and I can get some pics posted and get out there again.

Although I am aiming to go out tomorrow and Wednesday regardless.

Forgot to take pics, but had the xmaxx, asuga and the slash 4x4 out today, only casualties were the fan on the esc on the asuga stopped working and on the slash managed to snap the wires going to the rear lights, had some spare white 5mm led so soldered them onto the existing loom so thats working again, for the asuga i am going to buy a rocket fan, but have another 30mm fan i can use if i need to till 1 arrives

Was over the weekend took the Kagama out for a good rip to see if the CVD heat shrink mod is holding up, well 15 packs in and quite a few bad landings its still holding up no CVD pin missing and heat shrink is still holding up so I am hoping that has fixed it 🤞.

I snapped 1 of my battery straps the other week on the asuga and found the spare ones i had were too long, is was something i hadnt even thought about, i cut mine down and sewed them together as opposed to staples

Aye I was going try and sew it but couldn't find the sewing kit, it's not something I use often the stapler was right next to the kettle while making a brew after work and thought ohh that'll do it 😄

i spent early part of the morning working on the steering on the hyper go 14209 it binds on full lock, so been through all the pivot points making sure nothing over tightened, pretty much full strip and rebuild of the steering set up, still does it so must be a quirk of the, it has improved but still not perfect model, funny thing the steering on the other mjx, the 16208, now that has taken some real punishment and just keeps coming back for more

Been doing a little work on tightening up the steering on my hpi rs4 recently, also added a little gyro. So, the weather brightened up (a bit ) today, still damp but thought I'd give it a quick go on a little car park.... seemed a lot better at first, both in a straight line and, drifting was so easy 🙂. Then all of a sudden the thing was all over the place, lost steering altogether so had to call it a (short) day ! Didn't have my specs with me at the time but got back home only to discover a small flat stone wedged under the steering linkage ☹️.  Weather permitting, I'll have another go tomorrow :good:

Always the way isn't it 🙄, I did that quite a few times when I started to take my RCs around the quarry till I realised bits of crap kept getting into the drive line or steering. So now I either drop the RC from a height see if that loose anything up, if that fails hit the thing till something falls out!.

Could you reset the steering end points to slightly reduce the lock. If you detach the servo arm does it still jam on full lock ?, if not the fault could be in the servo

No can't set end points on stock radio, the problem is in the steering mechanism not servo, I might fit the Hotrc ds4 radio then I can set end points

Had a productive day.

Broke four props, crashed into a few trees

Knocked the GPS off twice, it is held on with a cable tie. Got a mount on the way.

And the worst bit crashed in to a sharpish stone and scratched the lens on my dji 03 camera 🤦😭
