Took the Big Rock apart and as expected, the rear input gear was totally trashed.  

 

I forgot how much muck gets trapped under the motor mount.  Should have checked on that far earlier.

 

Does anyone use any specific wipes when working on stuff like this?  Know in the US they have their CowRC wipes which look good and didn't know if there was a UK equivalent which is kind to plastic and bearings.

looks a good place to run the crawler/trail trucks tho :good:

When Im fishing i put the chemical hand warmer packs inside my gloves and that works quite well in keeping my hands warmish

Finally fitted the lights into the bumper

and unclipped the power cable so it's easier to plug the battery in

 

Now to see about getting the diffs regressed to try and increase the power been put down!

Put some savage xl wheels on the maxx to run it in the snow, was keeping a close eye on the temps as they are really too big but the added ground clearance def helped
