What did you do to your model today?

I think that cat could survive lava for how he soaks up heat he doesn't shy away from it, he sits on top drifting off and when he feels himself falling off he wakes up and does it all over again. One day I'll smell cat hair I know it 😅

Checked the Kagama after going out after the storm Sunday and could not spin the centre diff what do you know all the water ****ed some bearings 😅 . The dusty motors cover was a life saver next to no water got into the chassis 👍 got into the front and rear diff more in the back for some reason 🤔

I know daft idea but I thought I could rip about and miss the puddles but nope hit every single blooming one 🙈. Cleaned it all off and used the blower to get rid of the water then let it sit dry off Sunday night.

Stripped it down after checking few days later re-greased everything and only two dry bearing I found, kind of think I got of light seeing the amount of water it took on 😀

Like the Group C contingent...

The Raybrig NSX 99 is the last touring car I want but theyre commanding crazy money. I still want a NIB 30th Anniversary 934 but unless someone comes to me with one and says give me your XRT/Xmaxx (or both?) as a trade Ill probably never get one. I havent got it in me to ‘sell to buy’.

Im loving the Group C. They’re different. If I start to get more time I can see me building a hopped up Group C Chassis, and finding a 787B/Nissan R91C.

Love Group C, I was fortunate enough to be taken to the 1988 Brands Hatch 1000km by my Dad.  Silk Cut Jags, AEG Sauber C9 (became the Merc Silver Arrows), Blaupunkt Porsche 962s.  Sadly there weren't as many Porsches as during previous events at Brands or even subsequent races like the 1989 event.  But I can still hear that Sauber V8 and Jag V12 like it was yesterday.  Good times.  Just wish Tamiya would do a short tail 962c...

Weathers been horrible today so spent the day in the garage cleaning and messing about with the RC's and feeding Mog dreamies trying get him out his cat cave but having none of it 😅

Seeing how I have snapped or maybe lost two front CVD pins in the kagama I have made a little collar out of heat shrink to keep the retaining spring in place to keep the pins where they should be. So if it holds and a pin goes missing next time I know it's because it's snapped and not just slipped out 🙃. Got the idea off a dude on YouTube 😄.

Also made a adaptor for the Mojave so can see if everything works before I get chopping on that esc lipo connector. Seems the servo saver is supposedly naff on these Arrma 4s rigs but worked ok for me on the bench and on the lawn, hope it holds up out n about 🙂
