The scale ratchet straps are particularly nice. I was also looking for a portable genset but haven't found a super realistic one for a reasonable price yet.

Tadas
Update: POWEEERRR!!!!! 💪😁 did few speedruns and a few jumps in the bmx track - nothing got broken, esc max temp 74C, motor 60C 🥳
Tadas
Update no2 🙂 Did a stress test in a stadium - basicly nonstop wheel spin. ESC went up to 94C, motor to 97C. Noticed pinion didnt like it - was it too tigh or too loose?

SimplyChunk
Took the Pirates out for a little bash after work. Front wheel is locking up now. drive shaft looks to be loose at the wheel side. CVJs in it I do believe. might have just lost a pin. Glad i have an excuse to install the hardened upgrades I have in stock now. Question is though..do i do all for corners or just the fronts for now?

Partydaz
Fitted new esc to the Maxx truck and took it for a blast and it's an animal only took the punch up one setting from stock that's enough for me 😅, three packs back to back full beans flat out on grass and dirt no thermo cut out and everything is only warm to the touch very impressed. Wiring could do with tidying up and the motor wires need new connections fitting but that's a job for another day I got truck to abuse 🙃.
Ag100
Picked up a new MJX Hyper go 16209, stripped down and removed the two diffs and spur, these are know to be weak, so have some stronger upgrades coming, will also fit a new metal geared servo and have wired up a Hobbywing 10BL60 esc which fits neatly where the stock esc sits. Seems like a nice little truck, solid parts and well thought out, should be good fun once finished. If anyone knows of a clear body for these, let me know, would like to do my own colour scheme on it if possible.
Popular Post MrCake
Got out with the Slash. Love how you can chuck it into a corner and give it full beans while turning and mine is the HCG version! Definitely want to get a 1/8th scale short course truck in the future and hoping someone like Corally make one for a reasonable price.
Popular Post Mack1
Needed new front and rear toe plates for my Thunder Tiger Tomahawk BX but for love nor money being about 15 years old there is not many left. I did however come across one on ebay and bought that. I got thinking as this is on the front it's prone to heavy damage. So I managed to get it laser scanned and then laser cut at work out of 3mm and 4mm stainless steel (I couldn't decide for the best. Original is 3mm thick). I got it fitted today, works a treat. What's next I wonder 🤔 2 on the bottom left are originals. Now fitted. Gone for the 4mm thick one for now.

MrCake
With it being so dusty the other day, I knew I needed to head back with the PTG-2.

Partydaz
I have started taking a spare truck out in case I break something and need use up the batteries. This new ESC in the Maxx is making me drive it like I stole it I didn't know the truck could go so fast. Going start swapping out my traxxas ESCs to hobbywing kit now, I have seen the light and I shall no more be blinded by nasty blue over priced ESC don't get me wrong they work ok but these hobbywing ones 🥰. 1

Can i lower the temp triger on the esc some how, or maybe buy some external temp switch?

Partydaz
Bit of fault finding. I was wondering why Maxx truck was cogging so bad Sunday, mo powa babeh means burnt up motor plug 😅. I did think they are in need of repair when doing the install but thought nah it'll be ok till I get round to it 🤣, time to get some plugs ordered up I guess 😄.
