Flown both my mcx and mcx2 today after celebrating my birthday with family 👍👍
 

Feeling good, nose in and tail in 👍👍👍👍 of course small movements on nose in but getting there.

Well not exactly to a model but some organisation on some of my hardware, had all this in 1 box and the stuff that didnt fit in a little tray was in little baggies beside other stuff, now its all separated and i have some extra space now

Most of mine is standard ones that have been removed and replaced by stainless steel along with some other randon stuff.

Finished reinforcing the new maxx body even added a 3d printed flexible rear body protector I got off ebay with that and the thicker maxx body hopefully it'll take some abuse before falling apart like the last one😀

Is that the HD tough one? I havent done any shoo goo etc, and mines doing fine so yours should be good

Soldered up the two Holmes Retro Sport 19T ModelSport delivered and popped them in the Clod.  Then on with the basher body and off to beach to test.  Perfect on a 2S... enough grunt to lift the front, airborne on some bumps and a bit sideways, but not too mad and nothing got hot after two 5600mah packs.

Yes it is. It does feel extra thick but I wanted to make extra sure I don't have to buy a new shell for a good while 😀

Fitted a SSD rear diamond axle and changed the wheels and tyres.

Very grippy. I gave them a go in the wet a few days ago, I was pleasantly surprised. 

Very good value for money.

Soldered bullets onto the Clod ESC as turns out mashing the motor bullets into Tamiya ESC connectors does work, but was also cause of the ESC shutdowns yesterday.. guessing it got really cross when one motor suddently wasn't fully connected.

Worked on the UDR changed the spur gear to a 55t see if calms the truck down on 6s , it works a treat loads of torque plus it still rips if need be . Took it out for a test round a little track I make out of a path and a few tree's I try not to crash into 😅

Decided the shackles on the "upgraded" metal bumper on the WPL hilux were too meaty/square and new looking so attacked one with a file to round it out a bit and added a coat of red ox

 

Liked the result so did the left one and also the diff cover got painted too to match

Back tracking a little bit and going back to the Baja to do a few things. 

Rerouted the ESC wire to go under the battery packs rather than up and down the cage as i had to remove the cage and with the ESC wire taped to it it was a pain. 

Also installed the one RPM rear arm set i had, ordered two originally but only received one so used the stock ones as nowhere had another set of RPM ones at the time but that seems to have changed now. 

Also ordering some alloy rear uprights at some point along with a couple of other pieces.

No photos today but had a little blast at our local skate park with the HBX this morning to blow off some steam before my next 60 hour work week ☹️

RPM arms not come yet but fitted Taylor RC front shock tower and braces that came today. 

Hoping RPM arms might turn up tomorrow.

Nice and beefy, might change the carbon fibre rear shock tower and brace for the Taylor RC one to match the front 😁
