What did you do to your model today?

Took the mog on it's first run and loved how it handled was impressed with the tyres as well.

I passed a brand new Mog on a low loader last week, looked rugged as! (Full size, real deal.)

 

Today I actually ran a truck! Took the Savvy for a quick street run. The cells weren't happy after sitting for almost a year, the LVC kept cutting in, but I kept going until it completely stopped. 

 

Oh, and the AAs in the Tx had started to leak, so had to address that first. My fleet sits idle for far too long!

Same here, I checked to see when I last went to the crawler track and it was September last year. My poor summit hasn't been run in years and is looking a little sad for itself.

Wow, my 5800 packs are only taking 4500, but still producing pizza cutter wheelies, so I'll keep running them for now.

Started to build a bigger version.

Another day off so decided to head back to the woods with 2 x cars.  The EMB-TG lasted for one turn of the transmitter before I saw a small wheel bouncing away. 

 

Not had this before but  glad that I could use the 2nd car to avoid a wasted trip!

Built the injora buggy and gave it a little test.

It wasn't meant to be a full RC day but also did some wrenching outside swapping out the drive shafts for supposed stronger ones.

 

Oh and some new wheels and tyres as the badlands are a bit too grippy for where I keep using the cars.

 

Better cut the grass or do something else non RC related 🤣

@Lone-wolf It's a capra chassis copy from Injora.

@MrCake try the mip shafts, not the big heavy ones, they look like 1/8 buggy truggy shafts. I have run mine on 3 and 4s without problems.

They rust really easily I found =/

Don't all shafts like that rust? It's basically uncoated hardened steel. 

I've had Losi, Hobao, Arrma they all do if you don't maintain them.

I’ve had RC4WD and Thunder Tech shafts in my Clod and they both rusted pretty fast if I wasn’t careful.

More forum spamming as I managed to get out again.  Lugged the Kagama up to my favoured spot which did me in, but was worth it.

 

Only casualty was a lot wheel nut.  I deliberately swapped out the stock for some serrated ones but still managed to have one back off.  I assumed I would be able to find a large silver 17mm nut easily but after 10 minutes of searching I drew a blank.  Thankfully I had a spare with me so it didn't cut time short.

As I said a while back I was kinda having an off time with the hobby, Id kinda grew bored and Id had enough. However inspired by @SimplyChunk and @Skyesgaming recent purchases I decided to use some unexpected free time to get some painting done. Ill be honest, I hate painting, I have no patience or artistic skills and rush everything but hey. These were jobs I needed to do but never bothered too. I had all the stuff, so it hasnt cost me anything. 
 

The 934 45th Anniversary spoiler needed the black bits painting. Technically, it also needed the white paiting, but Im not paying £7 to paint a white plastic spoiler, erm white lol

 

Also, Tamiya nailed the new Porsche 992 GT3 bodyshell. The wheels, not so much. So I got some amazing 3D printed ones, but never got round to painting them. Box ones are black, but these are too pretty to be painted black and lose all their detail. I had some TS Silver left over from an Audi I did so

Whilst I still had the RC bug I made a start on reducing/correcting the wheel base on my 45th Anniversary…..
