Had one last swamp run down the bridal path before this afternoons* tear down and service, bound to need some new bearings and the motor probably needs some love I think. It’s running fine, but you can’t beat preventative maintenance.

 

*It will be blocking the work bench all week 😂

Had a little drive, followed by a tinker. The Super 5sc has way too much slop in the steering, I've reduced it, but not cleared it totally.

A first start up and movements for the Huina  Dump Truck, strange combination of left stick for drive forward / reverse, right stick for up / down, with buttons on the left for wheel right / left turning

 

Sound and lights also will take some getting used too, likely to be turned off, not sure I can handle multiple machines flashing along with engine noise will try the forward loader tomorrow and then look for some dirt to shift.

Going to the hobby shop for new front and back dif. I destroyed them when I was racing my cousin's Arrma Senton 4x4. And also looking at a Dumbo X6 Transmitter, I heard they are a big upgrade from the stock ratio controller.

took the petrol marader out for a spin got it upto 55kph or 34mph . and broke a few nothing serious bits mostly repared it though

I think cage buggies always look finished with a rear wing, even if there more than likely going to end up damaged after a few runs.

I agree.I wasn't keen on the look with the spare tyre mounted and looked wrong without it.Its a pity you can't get a proper wing mount for it.

I knew the Summit would need a better steering servo, so thought I would give one of these bad boys a go 👌

Fitted a new ESC and servo to the little M05. I wish I went for the blue motor now over the black one! 

 

 

R con truck body had also been fitted.

Put stickers and bits of plastic on it. Still not smitten with this shell but it looks a bit less like an upturned bucket now.

Taking it out to get muddy this afternoon.
