Will MS be selling it anytime soon?

EDIT: bit dissapointed they lost the 20mm Shocks that come with the Nitro kit :(

EDIT2: Will this be a kit, the sale details on Wheelspin state that's it's part assembled, whereas the Nitro version on MS says kit...

More details on the Hobao Website: http://www.hobao.com...fya1.php?id=119

DSC_1021-1.jpg

Hyper Star-e is designed and built for serious competition. The rigid structure of the body keeps the car solid strong to withstand hardcore racing. Multi suspension geometry with 20MM big bore shocks provided the racers with lots of tuning options to suit their driving styles. Chassis is re-enforced with two longitudinal beams to give precise handling and to keep chassis flex to minimum. Aluminum motor mount, heat sink and radio tray are hard anodized with smooth and great looking finishing.

Pivot Ball Suspension

The PBS is utilized to provide a smoother and more consistant steering over different track conditions. The pivot ball is made from aluminum with stainless steel thread end to withstand high impact turning and landing. DSC_1029-1.jpg

Re-enforced Chassis

Chassis is further strengthened with two longitudinal bars to make the structure rigid solid for precise handling and to keep chassis flex to minimum. DSC_1061.JPG

CVD

Front and rear CVDs are standard. The CVDs are CNC machined and heat treated to withstand the ever growing power of the brushless motors. DSC_1064.jpg

Big Bore Shocks

20mm black anodized big bore shocks with multi geometry suspension settings provide racers with long lasting damping actions and lots of tuning options. DSC_1054a.JPG

EDIT: Looks like this may be a pre-production mock up as some of the detailing from the pics Garry posted have branding/naming on them.

Still suggests it would be 20mm Shocks also.

That aside, I think this looks to be a really, really good layout! :D

Beat me to it.

Using the the search function, you will find what’s popular and still has support etc.

ebay is another good tool, type in the brand and model and see what comes up spares wise.

old threads like this prove entirely how popular the car was, shame as it does sit very well in the shots.... :good:

Wasn't very popular compared to hyper 7 because it cost more same with the hyper 8 and 9 they gave up on them in the end and just produced the 7 forever instead :P

Hyper STs and 7s are older. Just wondered what it was that killed it off. I saw a brand new brushless Pro version on eBay (now sold) for around the £150 mark and was curious.
