Rclegends
Hi, I'm thinking about getting the Traxxas 1/16 Ken Block Gymkhana Fiesta XL2.5 RTR or the other version of it. Does anybody know how long it lasts on average. Help would be much appreciated.

windsurfingman
Do you mean runtime? Not long with the stock NiMh - about 10 mins on the VXL. I've put two 1750 LiPos in parallel to give 3500 on 2S and it goes for 30+mins. You can fit 2x2200 LiPos for even longer runtimes but you need to cut the battery door slightly. It really needs a very smooth wide open space like a carpark.
Gaz!
with the stock wheels and tyres, car parks etc are about its limit, stick on some rally block tyres on touring car rims and will be good running on grass and fine dirt. im guessing its the brushed version with the 550 titan motor?? if so 1 battery wont last long, either get some more nimhs in parralel which should give lots better run time or go lipos, the difference is immense!! Tug
Don't buy brushed, it's like comparing steam to nuclear fission! Which ironicly is then used to make steam, I know.
