JayJ
I live about 11 miles from Ipswich, sometimes come to Ipswich and use the BMX track on Clapgate Lane in Gainsbrough. It's a little stoney and usually has kids around but not had any problems there.

wastegate
I live in Ipswich and also looking to find areas to bash about. Tried bmx track but got told to move on by park warden. Really! I've never been told to move from there but I used to go during the week when no-one was around. Even had the police watch a couple times with no issues. If there's no sign or by-law forbidding it then there's nothing the warden can do.

Nitro-basher-chick
Hi Me and hubby are ipswich, we use landseer park for nitro and petrol but well away from the bmx track as the kids are little nobs, The far end of the park is used for flying aswell, Monster trucks are grate in the woods at orwell country park, and petrol if you have sand tyres on the shore. You can use electric on hollywells park when its quiet, witch is pritty much my back garden lol We would be happy to meet up with you, pm either me or redneck29, we live about 10 walk mins form landseer park. The bmx track on the park is used for bmx club raceing and thay do get funny about it, but the far end of the park away from the track is used for flying so thats were we go, ive had the police walk ova aswell as there has been issues with kids on motor bikes on the park and burning out cars there and nitro and petrol do sound like motor bikes but have had no issues at all
Redneck29
Those of us in ipswich should all meet on landseer park for a yap and a bash, its norm pritty quiet on the far end outher than wendsday eves when the flying club there, I love that park as its really bumby and good for jumps But as sally says the bmx track is a bad idea when the kids are about as thay are nobs

Redneck29
Yeah i'd be up for meeting someone for a bash preferably away from the little scroats lol sounds like a plan, give either me (marc) or nitro-basher-chick (sally) a pm when your ready and we arange it. Btw what do u run?
wastegate
I can understand if there's kids using the track for it's intended purpose but I used it mainly on weekdays when the kids 'should' be in school and the place was deserted. Had the police come over on trail bikes for a chat a few times but that was all. It is quite close to some houses so I can imagine they'd get fed up with the noise!
