  1. You csn get them from aliexpress cheaper, personally id avoid, i have spoken to the owner or representitive and he avoids any serious question and does his best to tell you how wrong you are etc, its not worth the hassle imo
  2. Thanks for the shoutout, i cant take credit for the original design although i did change some bits on it to make it more user friendly and a little stronger too.
  3. Theres not many tyres that will like big brushless power
  4. Yeah quite a few people do, it only seems to like low kv or it’s own brand motor which for me is pointless. From a few videos I’ve seen the max 4 is good, seems to be good on the non recommended kv motors too but that’s only what they show you.
  5. I had a ztw esc when they were released, that and both of the ztw escs my dad had too all went up in flames, if the max4 has max5 reliability then that’s going to be a brilliant esc for sure.
  6. I think this should be more comparable to the exb line up which in that case it is fairly cheap, a used Kraton exb goes for around £600, no model is perfect out the box and everyone always upgrades along the way.
  7. I know of one for sale, up for 900 has every m2c part on it you can think of
  8. Ok thanks, I’ll let you know how I get on
  9. Do on this, when on throttle the brake lever hits the upper gear mesh plate, aj just posted a way of doing it so I’ll give that a go
  10. Brilliant I’ll see if I can sort it, thankyou
  11. But more done, tyres taped and glued, brake servo fitted esc mounting plate modified and fitted, esc setup and find out how to stop the servo moving when pressing the throttle, first time using mechanical brakes on any of my 1/5s
  12. Rc fox is the place to get one, no where else has stock
  13. Motor, steering servo fitted to the ultimate tonight, removed the rear wing and packaged up the old Rr5 ready for its new owner
