  1. Great stuff! Nicely done. Love the paint job, looks great. Thanks for uploading. Can't beat an SCX-10
  2. The parts are all available on the Centuryuk website. They look pretty cheap too. The battery compartments are quite small. It comes with 2x2s 3200mah lipos but I bought a couple of Zippy softcase lipos which fit. They just need the wires to be in the right place. Centuryuk seem to have a lot of products and look quite established so I feel fairly confident that I'll be able to source parts. As I mentioned, there was an issue with two bolts missing on the chassis and centuryuk couldn't have been more helpful. The plastics and aluminium chassis are very beefy. It seems to be a heavily upgraded Redcat Terremoto with beefed up, solid components and I like the hobbywing SC8. It's well regarded and 120amps. All waterproof too which I put to the test on Sheringham beach!
  3. A bit more info, Have crashed the truck multiple times, cartwheeled it etc. and not a single broken part. No heat issues whatsoever. After 30 mins of running the motor is barely warm. It has a hobbywing sc8 esc and motor and runs quietly and smoothly. Unlike my slash 4x4vxl (now sold) I've had no issues with dirt in the drive train despite running on dry, dusty areas, gritty, stony car parks and the beach. The rear of the shell split quite early on as it rubs against the shocks when they compress but I've cut a section out and have had no further tears or anything. I think it looks better too.
  4. Been running the Marauder for a while now, in woods, on the beach, car parks etc. Really enjoying this truck. It handles very well, has plenty of power and is a solid piece of kit. I had a slight issue with the chassis missing a couple of screws but the service I received from century uk was outstanding. Very happy overall. I highly recommend the Marauder. I tried to upload some video footage but couldn't work out how to do it. Will try again at some point. All good fun!
  5. Not got any pics yet. I'm using a steam powered 'phone - no internet, no camera. But I like it. Keeps me off eBay!. My son is going to take some photos and videos tomorrow. I'll put some up over the weekend.
  6. The Marauder arrived yesterday and I've run it twice today. I've never used a Savage and don't have much to compare it with but I have to say I'm very happy with it. It's big, very solidly built and fast! Ballooning tyres and big jumps! Great fun! It doesn't wheelie a great deal as the power is well distributed across all four wheels but I like that. It handles really well and seems to be a great all round basher. The only slight drawback is the size of the battery trays. The provided batteries give about twenty minutes of run time. I bought a couple of Floureon 5200mah 2s lipos and whilst they fit into the trays there is no way to accommodate the wires. Without a slight mod that is! I think a couple of holes drilled into the trays should solve the problem. I'll get onto that tonight. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with it. It's faster than my old Slash 4x4 vxl, handles very well and has lots of torque.
  7. Hi. I've just ordered one. It should be here tomorrow. I've got a day off work on Friday so will let you know how it goes. Like rdarsa, I read the review in RRCi and thought it looks great. It's got a Hobbywing SC8 esc and runs 4s (2x 2s lipos included). Really looking forward to playing with it. Never had a monster truck. I've only been into the hobby for a year but find it a great way to unwind
