  1. Have you changed any of the Servo's in your savage, need a recommendation for the throttle brake one, as I have the stainless disc conversion which used to be awesome but now barely stops the thing.

Tons of choice cheap option is alturn something with 10kg torque atleast. Some people like speed too but it's not that important to me for brakes.  0.18s  will do me.

Power hd servos are a top choice for savages i think.

Waterproof is a top thing for me just incase the grass is wet still. You get some great sprays from the wheels after its been raining lol.

Saying that I've been caught out in a thunder storm once the rain was so heavy it hurt my ears. My radio had puddles the car was swimming. All old tech and it worked fine. But I would like to chance it with quality elecs lol.

  2. What would you recommend?
  3. Dug the savage out after its Christmas sleep and the throttle servos shot would like to replace both servo with something better, needs more stopping power on the brakes any recommendations?
  4. There was a guy with one when I went shooting the other day, sounded like a cannon going off!!
  5. That it does thanks nitro. Last one, its all together, but as you look at the engine from the side, the clutch bell doesn't completely cover the shoes, theres probably .5mm showing, the screw is tight and everything is rock solid together so to speak
  6. LOL literally just managed to put them on... a little help from a q-tip to hold the shoe out so I could get the last one in and a few choice words. Next question though.. on the exploded diagram the picture shows an m5 10x0.5 washer between the first bearing and the shoes, does this washer sit atop the shoes so to speak.. from what i can maker out the inner clutch bell bearing sits on top of it?
  7. Just about to start pistol shooting here in Jersey Ci where gun laws are quite different to the main land. The people I stay with work with the local pistol club so I have a choice .40 automatic match pistol, .357 magnum s&w or there's the .45 s&w revolver, and various .22 pistols
  8. OK got my new clutch shoes and springs, Need to remove the old shoes and springs and tips tricks for uninstalling and reinstalling? before it all goes tits up
  9. Wrecked a spur gear yesterday. Screw came loose on the end of the pinion, bearings wrecked. Any tips on fixing it more securely rather than the Phillips head std screw
