Hi, my son and I are into RC cars . We have a midnight pumpkin with a sort tuned motor and a Baja prime buggy. As we are also into VWs I am wanting to build a blitzer beetle but want it to be faster than a sport tuned motor. What can this kit handle reliably? Super stock? Brushless maybe. What set ups would people recommend? Looking to start from scratch in kit form. Not got stupid money. My son is also wanting a fast standard or rally beetle kit so the question is for this kit too. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I think the orange write is when using a brushless motor.

I had some awful problems with older 27 and 40 mhz radio gear. This included a falling to stop midnight pumpkin that hit a concrete pillar at full speed snapping all body mounts and the front bumper. Swapped the radio gear for 2.4ghz transmitter and receiver and all is great. Awesome range, rechargeable too so no need for loads of AA batteries.

Not sure if this topic has been discussed before, but I couldn't find it on a search. Let's see some pics of alternative boddies fitted to rc cars. .... What I mean is any body that was not originally sold with your car/kit. I have a tamiya lancia delta and a midnight pumpkin and I'm looking for some inspiration for alternative body shells. Post away..........

Has anyone got a spare front shock?? my son smashed the front end down this afternoon and the bottom of the shock has sheared off where is bolts to the suspension arm.. I'd fork out for a new set but we've destroyed some drift wheels on our lancia, and have just spent t out on a new tx/rx!! Just need one shock, or the bit that screws on the bottom.....
