  1. Sorry to jump on someone else's thread but the turnigy combo mentioned is an 80amp esc with a max 2s lipo. Im also new to the game but i have a reaktor combo with a 35amp esc and that will take an 3s! Can anyone explain as i am also looking for a cheap bl combo for my daughters vantage.
  2. I would suggest that it may be worth getting some old wire and giving soldering a try. With practice you can get to a standard that your happy with and you'll have a new skill. I'm not great with the soldering iron but I get the job done and you can hide it with the braid knowing you have a good connection. Go on, give it a try!
  3. I won't get mine till next week as I've only just ordered it. I look forward to your update once you've used it!
  4. I've just got a 5500ma 3s lipo off ebay for
  5. This mornings damage- ftx vantage smashed front hub and gearbox casing. Bsd assault steering servo saver snapped. Helion criterion rear hub smashed. Time for repairs!
  6. Thanks for that. I will look into the rod ends but keep the standard motor for now as my boost has a brushless conversion. Would you recommend that turnigy motor for an ftx vantage?
  7. My wife surprised me with a criterion for Christmas. I have decided to keep the motor standard but wondered what other upgrades you would recommend. I think it runs fast enough for a beginner to practice on a track but is there any handling mods that would assist a dumb ass like me with a heavy trigger finger.

I have contacted fedex informing them i will be making a complaint and won't be paying anything until it's sorted out. I sent the email last night and this morning they have replied. They have given me a discount of the handling charge and I only have to pay the

It's the first time I have ordered from abroad and thought I'd give it a try, expecting I may have to pay duty which is fine. I didn't expect the handling charge as I had paid delivery. Tax was

Hello all, just thought I'd share my recent experience buy bits from asiatees. I thought I would make a small order of around
  14. I looked at the tamco models when buying my first budget buggy and struggled to find spares or upgrades that were readily available. In the end I bought my daughter an ftx vantage 4wd and myself an ecx boost 2wd because of the price and parts. By the amount of comments on this forum, I would suggest that the ftx is the more popular choice. I decided to stay well away from the tamco as nobody I spoke to knew anything about them and as a beginner, I didn't want to be the one to find out the problems and faults with them!
