  1. The DARK KNIGHT strikes... The Dark Knight by LC Turnatrax, on Flickr
  2. nice find. how did you know the mbx7 arms would fit? and what's the stock size of the lower shock mount screw? thx for keeping this thread going...
  3. Anyone put on MT or truggy tires on the Typhon yet? Need to find out if wheel extenders (Kraton's?) are needed or will work. Also, head's up, this is coming out soon from ARRMA...the new Talion 6s. Looks to be just a truggy version of the Typhon and Kraton: http://www.towerhobbies.com/products/arrma/arad82.html
  4. Thinking to rename my Typhon...the Screamer
  5. Devin is that the Quicrun 150a WP? Fairly straight-forward, direct swap yeah? How you like it?
  6. Run it on 6s...that's a huge selling point of this buggy. I hardly ever run 4s on it. Can't remember the last time.
  7. I'm really liking my Typhon 6s. While I have had to disable LVC (waiting for a replacement ESC), it runs strong and fast. Hard to find a better bang for buck out there. Devin, let's see some more vids ;-)
  8. I like the silver shell. That color is still not available here in the USA, even as an optional separate purchase. I might pick one up though once it's available...although it's $35 USD! Ouch...but pretty it is :-)
  9. I disabled LVC and the issue is gone. Not ideal, but I keep an eye on the lipos anyway. It'll do until they send me the new ESC. The buggy is so fast, it's honestly a bit scary running it on the street.
  10. I'm having an issue with the ESC now. When I run 6s, once I go around 3/4 throttle, the ESC shuts down and goes into LVC mode (flashing blue light). This is strange as I can simply turn off the ESC then turn it back on, then it will run fine until I hit 3/4 throttle, then it shuts off again. I can keep doing this back and forth. This is only with 6s (not 4s). I've emailed ARRMA/Hobbico. BTW, the 6s lipo or two 3s lipos are fully charged, so it isn't really an LVC issue. Unfortunately, they take 2-3 days to reply (USA), at least in my past experience.
  11. My on-road slick tires just arrived...finally. I hope they grip well! Isn't she puuuur---ty? :-) 20141024_162026ed by LC Turnatrax, on Flickr
  12. Your steering servo has gone bad on you 2x already? Did they replace the ESC? How is the motor holding up?
