  1. hi thanks for the replies i might modify the battery tray to take a different size battery but just before i do this does anybody know if there are any sadle batteries available in this size only they measure 68x45x23mm each side im not bothered if they are ni-cd or lipo i just need at least one spare any further info is gratefully received, cheers Andy
  2. I registered with HK but theres no fascility to email them to ask about the battery i want theres a live chat button for assistance but im slow at typing as i dont really use a computor often it just put me off then i was reading on the net that other people had some bad experiences with their orders not arriving then had trouble contacting them about it dont know if this is right or not its just what i read so i`m still on the look out for a battery it would be a lot easier if someone on ebay sold them then i could just click on buy it now
  3. Hi thanks for the info i`ll try them now im wanting a nimh battery because thats standard for this particular brushless setup i cant get hold of either a nimh or a lipo sadle battery in the sizes suitable for this buggy (sizes as in measurements) so if anybody else can give me any further help please let me know, cheers.

  6. welcome to the forum, don't worry you don't need computers to setup most escs most can be programmed very easily either by transmitter or program box Thanks, im having trouble setting a decent brake on my hpi buggy with a flux motiv esc and a flux warp 5700kv motor when i need it to stop quickly it slows down gradually it used to skid with the brushed setup i had before i actually took it to my local model shop to see it he could set the braking but he couldnt do it either said i needed to buy a hpi castle link to set other than not having good brakes im happy with how it drives

  9. Hi just joined the forum and it looks very good! ive been into radio controlled cars and buggies for quite a few years now but nothing serious only for fun, i built my first truck in 1990 a tamiya midnight pupmkin and ive driffed in and out of trucks cars and buggies ever since but now they are quite technical and need computors to setup the esc etc this is what im not too good at at the moment so i may need a bit of help from time to time which im always very grateful for all the best Andy
  10. Hi im after a bit of advise on using the hpi castle link to set the braking on my hpi maverick strada evo buggy ive just upgraded the brushed esc and motor to the brushless flux motiv and a hpi flux warp 5700kv motor i really like the new setup but the braking is rubbish now, so ive placed a wanted thread for the castle link but im not that technically minded and wondered if anybody can give me a bit of advise on how to use the software to set the brakes only (when i get the usb link) thanks in advance for any help given cheers Andy
