  1. hey! are all those nitro bits n bobs still on offer? if so could you pm me a price inc fees/post? i have money waiting if price is right lol
  2. dumb question, but you defo sure those clutch shoes are for that engine? i only ask as i think you said you changed them, also have you tryed replacing the other ones back on or where they ruined?
  3. is that nx12 the engine or the car model? i've got a magnum NX myself
  4. thats pretty insane....nice
  5. i seen this link posted befor so should be ok, on the link below scroll down to "setting your carb" will give you a better idea http://www.rcnitrotalk.com/forum/threads/nitro-tuning-tips-and-tuning-flow-chart.60832/#post-537066
  6. well throttle fully shut is idle really & should have about a 1mm gap(its not always strictly 1mm), with your radio gear on, pull trigger fully back(on the transmitter, like acclerating) while looking down where the air filter goes & you should see that 'gap' open fully hope that makes some sense
  7. is it poss that it could be the throttle linkage, or the gap on the carb(remove airfilter & look down) on a friends car he bought someone had messed with the linkage so when it was at "idle" the carb was still open more than the recommended 1mm-ish maybe something along those lines??
  8. that used to confuse the hell out of me when new to the hobby, now its just annoying
  9. agreed, trying to get by with little or no funds just wont cut it especially nitro, but ofcourse you dont have to break the bank either from what i've seen most new guys go lil mad buying more than 1 car of any ol type they can get cheap, then find they are out of funds for all the essials/upgrades & parts, i was even a little like this at first, but then took the time to slow down & learn
  10. i think most the time nitro is going to be more expensive, its just the way it is theres more to buy for it more often generally, things like fuel glow plugs etc, not always the case of course
  11. sounds like you've been more unlucky than anything mate, but no, nitro is not as bad as that generally
  12. how did you change the pull cord to that kevlar stuff? is it easy? i was thinking about using it, tho ive been quite happy with a drill start on my eb4 s2
