  1. i got the exploded view but no manual that i can recall, but yes i didnt think of looking at that first, have only ever used it for part numbers when i needed a new part.
  2. Thanks for that snippet of info there Nitro, will DL that tomorrow and print it off at work.
  3. I only knew that cos i had to strip the rear hub lastnight as i snapped one of the parts in a roll, had to hammer the pin out with a drift. stopped for 5 minutes while i had a smoke. While i was doing that i gave all the parts a good inspection and noticed the allen bolt, was much easier getting the pin back in after that!! haha
  4. If you have a look down the end of the outer drive there 'should' be an allen bolt. you assemble everything, put the pin through and then tighten that allen bolt up. That stops the pin from falling out.
  5. Where is this location? if its not to far from me and i can get the time i might pop along.
  6. These 'common' approaches would make the world a better place to live let alone bash, but so many people have absolutely none, even worse some CHOOSE to have none which is a complete disgrace. It is amazing how much respect one gets having these, prime EG was last night, a dog walker was in the area so we brought the cars back to us and stopped running around until they passed. Started running again when they got to the edge of the field. they then stopped and watch for a while and then went off. A little while latter they come back and right up to us, we thought he was gunna have a moan and ask us to move on. quite the opposite, he said how nice it was that we stopped our cars when he come along and that it was a nice change to see people up here with a 'proper' hobby and not tearing the land up on crossers and making a nuisance. Stood there for around half an hour talking about the cars.
  7. Hell Yeah, love that. I would be interested in a Baja one. Cant think of anything better than a shell on it of my favorite car
  8. Yeah, leave it off haha I basically run mine like you can see yours in the picture, mainly because i couldnt be arsed keep taking it off and back on again each time i gave it a clean. That will all change once i have added some more fiberglass layers to the inside of my Grafil body as i find it a little to thin, and then fabricate a base for it and then everything will be completely enclosed
  9. Covers you in public as well, one of the main reasons that i got my membership. Quoted from their handbook that can be found online;
  10. just underneath the bit that say 'walbro' and next to the fuel out there should be some number stamped. see the image below for example.
  11. Hi Mate, do you have the walbro carbs left? if so what models are they, im after a genuine 668 to replace my copy one. Or a 990/813 If you have what would you be look at for one of them?
  12. Opened, and now closed down i believe. google maps/earth is well out of date for the North east of the uk. There is a bypass around my village the was completed 5-6 years ago.....yet google still shows its as in construction!! use yahoo maps, much more up to date
  13. well i have a place near me that's pretty good, kind of a muddy shale even in this weather is pretty dry. been trying to find some parking close to this area for a while and finally found some when i checked on yahoo maps thats around 100-200 yards away so spent a few hours down there and had a blast. looks like its used by some lads on crossers too as there a knobbly tire tracks everywhere and i can see why as there is some awesome jumps in this area and its a nice surface. perfect for a large scale RC https://uk.maps.yahoo.com/place/?lat=55.04021473326989&lon=-1.5221750736236572&t=h&bb=55.04176083%2C-1.52626544%2C55.03867165%2C-1.5180847&addr=Newcastle%20upon%20Tyne The bank up to the A186 also has a small flat bit on it so you can stand up there and look down on the cars, bit like whats at the grassy field on the seafront at tynemouth. would love to try and mark out a proper track, its just waste land so no one would give a toss. its not a patch on steetley quarry but its also not a mission of a drive to get too
