  1. Made a custom modification to the shell of my Kraton by flipping it and scraping it along a hard surface for 15 feet
  2. Worked perfect after the strip down and draining the center diff, no foeign objects getting in the way of the drive train. Genuinely at a loss what caused the lock up
  3. 30 dnt, was driving fine after repairs from a big crash. All of a sudden all 4 wheels lock up. Was as though the brakes had come on but they hadn't. The drive shafts from the center diff wouldn't move at all. I figured the center diff must have broke but i've taken it off and it looks fine. Without the diff in everything moves freely, I took the diff off and it also turns ok. Thought i'd take the center diff off and it would be locked up but it wasn't. Got the diff draining i'll take the opportunity to change the oil. Maybe i'm missing something obvious ? I can't think what.
  4. Replaced all parts damaged in a crash, all 6 of them. Was a front on crash yet I bent the rear drive shaft, god knows how. Paint is flaking off which is definitely me not prepping the surface properly but I've got some carbon fibre looking wrap to go on instead.
  5. All 4 parts I needed arrived today. Got my dad duties out of the way and settled in to fit everything and it starts bouncing down with rain
  6. But, isn't it awful to break something as in you feel awful then it's really satisfying to repair it as long as it doesn't cost too much
  7. Thanks, I thought so. Since I posted this i'm now in need of some ha
  8. I told my wife I was selling the MTXL and DBXL to fund the purchase of my 30DNT, I have the new car but have zero plans to sell the other ones. It's a harmless lie in my books
  9. The carb was still set as it was when I stopped using them, funnily enough got both now running after a 2nd change of new plugs.
  10. Neither want to start, apart from changing the plug is there anything else I can try for someone that's not very mechanically minded. The bulb fills ok and the pull start feels normal. I don't get the slightest bit of noise that sounds like it's starting. They're the stock ones in the DBXL and MTXL Cheers
  11. I bought the original km x2 and I couldn't brake it, looked cool too. KM really are decent and value for money. The losi 5 however is the boss, no doubt about it. Tough choice.
  12. Not far from me never knew there was ground there to run.
