  2. Here is my Axial Wraith crawler. Started off as a poison spyder RTR. Has quite a few modifications since. Savox sc1232 waterproof servo Axial servo horn Mip steel drive shafts Mip steel prop shafts Steel gearbox gears Reduced gearing Brand new RC4WD Crawler motor 55t Madskinz stinger steel front bumper Inner fenders painted silver Aluminium rock slider panels Aluminium bead lock wheels R35 axial BFG Krawler tyres (not the standard non sticky ones) Pit bull dos pieza crawler foams Vanquish axle braces Topcad diff covers Topcad aluminium steering linkage Modified matters tray so battery goes in front under the bonnet Proline jeep Cherokee body cut to fit Sure there's a few other things I can't remember. Comes with the original transmitter and receiver. Is 2s and 3s compatible. ESC has been waterproofed. Very capable truck, selling due to not using it anymore. Sad to let it go because it really does look different to all the other wraiths out there. Only broken part is a plastic beam that goes to the front bumper but this can easily be replaced. Comes in original box with all the original parts trees and spares. Any questions please ask. No returns Looking for
  3. Yea one was stiff the I was flying up and down the beach and it made the cog grinding sound. I thought the motor had come loose or I had stripped the pinion but it was that. A shame really as I really do like it. I've re built it all with no motor or gearbox so I can still look at it haha
  4. Here's a picture of mine. Got the 2400kv mamba max pro in there. Only run it on 3s with a 21t pinion. Trying to find the rear 112mm shock mount as the suspension on these really is pants. Bottoms out everywhere. Also look for DE racing vorza rear arm guards. I just got some from AMAIN in America and it stops all dirt and stones getting flung from the front wheels into the rear suspension. It's a pain getting all stones and that inside the body too. Especially when they get wedged under the rear diff drive shaft cups. Here's mine
  5. The original rear tyres are good I think. I used the proline sling shot sand paddles and I glued them as the original bead locks are pants. But they're 2.2 so you can find lots of other 2.2 bead locks wheels available that all sorts of tyres go on. I've since given up on this as the diff bearing seized. Causing the diff half shell to wear, the fear casing to wear and strip two of the cogs in the gearbox. It's a shame because I've never given up on it and it's a blast to drive, and I think it's one of the best looking rc cars or there. I've put the motor in a HPI Apache C1 as I like the desert/sand buggy style cars. Shame this is a 4wd and 17mm axles mean you can't get wheels that will look like they're meant for the car.
  6. hi, As title says whats the best servo i can get for under 30 quid to replace my now stripped one? Some people recommend the Ebay ones but not sure which one to go for> Thanks
  7. I'm going to ring modelsport tomorrow and see what they say. How annoying. I've heard nothing but good things about the fly sky stuff so I'll give that a go instead. And my iPhone was in the other room! Thanks for your help!
  8. What did you do send it back? It's brand new!
  9. Hi all, Recently bought a Carson reflex wheel pro led 2 receiver and transmitter for a yokomo drift car I bought. The manual says turn on the receiver, then turn in the transmitter and it will bind itself. However it won't bind at all. I've tried every thing possible, with them both set to French mode, both set to normal mode and nothing the receiver just keeps on flashing. Anyone else had this problem? I can't see that I'm doing anything wrong!
  10. is it the rear wheel? if so its the rear camber mount. Order the aluminium one
  11. Hi, I've come to the end of my tether with my Vaterra Glamis fear that I use to bash on the beach. It's constantly breaking and I've just fitted the Castle Mamba max pro sct system in it. All I want it to blast up and down the beach at hi speed. If I fitted sand paddles and this motor/ESC into a rwd torment it would do the job wouldn't it? Upgrades like shocks seen easy enough and I assume you can get upgraded arms and that? Or is it worth paying the extra 200 quid for a slash when I'm ripping all the Insides out of it anyway?
  12. This is what I've put in mine. It's lower kv so won't spin as fast but has more torque so you can gear it higher. I've changed mine to 32dp gears and run a 18/58 gear ratio. It's not as quick as the original but my original motor got really got due to the friction from rubbing it in the sand. With the stock 48dp gears you could make it a lot faster. However the more torque may strip the spur quicker. I've done something to my gearbox as it's making a horrible noise I just havnt had the time to take it out and strip it down.
  13. Ah ok. Yea they're stiffer have you tried fitting the springs from the old shocks onto them? You can get softer springs for the HPI shocks I they don't fit but I think the harder shocks are better if your doing massive jumps as it will stop it from bottoming out.
