  1. To be honest mate they all look okay for what you want it for. Just make sure you choose something made from foam and make sure you choose a still day (i.e. no breeze!) and in an open area. If you're serious about giving a good try then maybe contact your local model club. Your local model shop will be able to point you in the right direction or go on the BMFA website and look around there.
  2. Do you have radio and a charger? What's the budget?
  3. I saw a similar one (although I'm sure it was Hubsan branded) in our local model shop. It almost looked too small. Why not get another Q4?
  4. Just watched all of those video's over the past 24hrs RCMonkee. Love the look of the speedo II. Where do you get it from? P.S. looks like you're near some fantastic places to fly.
  5. Hi all. After one motor for my X4. I've ordered some online (twice) but been sent the wrong ones (twice - first my fault then the sellers). Any got any spares going? Cheers
  6. I got one today and it's great. Will need to order some new batteries at some stage though. edit: batteries ordered .
  7. I was going to write that I'm a bit of a novice with nitro but actually I'm a complete novice so bear with me!! I've got the engine idling without the wheels spinning but when I push the throttle on the receiver the engine revs, but won't sometime might take a few seconds to reach full throttle. It sounds like it's thinking about bogging down but then decides to actually react to the throttle input. Once it reaches full RPM, I can then cut the throttle so it drops to idle and then if I put full throttle on again (within a few seconds of it idling) the throttle will pick up straight away. Hope that all makes sense. I'm using 20% nitro fuel and the engine is a tamiya FS-12SW. It's pretty old but has had 2 or 3 tanks through it recently. Thanks
  8. Isn't it 3.7v for all Lipo batteries?
  9. Finally got some flux so I could get rid of the Tamiya connectors on my M05 to replace with deans. Quite pleased for my first bit of soldering.
  10. Have you taken the glow plug out and drained it of fuel? (just checking!)
  11. Don't know that part of the world but look on google maps for former quarry sites or bmx tracks. Would also recommend trying the forums on here, there is a section with details of local meetings which will give you an idea of where to go.
  12. New air filter, wheels and tyres, body pins and nitro glow starter.
