  1. I've had this happen to me once. I didn't even notice that it wad broken until I got home and was cleaning it up. Besides the control arms, spindles and a bent hinge pin, the only other problem I've had was with the transmitter. I eventually had to upgrade, the radio and receiver just stopped working one day.
  2. I just ordered 3 of these. I'll let you know how these things run whenever it gets here from China.
  3. I just got done catching up on the posts. I noticed that you were swapping out plastic to aluminum chassis. The plastic chassis models sometimes did not have bearings in the wheel spindles but used bushings instead. That might be creating your slop and causing you to veer off a little. You might want to check to see if you have bearings in them and if not, put them in.
  4. The stock servo that comes with the U.S. rebranded Tacon Soar is the Solar Servo D655 [email protected] Mini Digital 22g: Specs: Speed @4.8v 0.12 Speed @ 6.0v 0.1 Torque (oz./in) 4.8v 44.48 Torque (oz./in)6.0v 55.6 Torque (kg/cm) 4.8v 3.2 Torque (kg/cm) 6.0v 4 Length 32.3 Width 15 Height 28.1 Weight (g) 22 Gear Material polyacetal Bearing Type Dual Ball Bearings Digital / Analog Digital Motor Type 3 Pole i run this in all 3 of my buggies without a problem. Here is another servo you can try. It's a little larger but a little stronger, good thing about the second servo is that it comes with a load of mounting extras and is also 25t as the original, still not sure about the fit though. http://www.rccarshop...-12th-gt12.html
  5. I'm not sure about the UK kits but the U.S. rebranded Tacon Soar brushless RTR kits from nitrorcx.Com have aluminium shocks, towers and chassis as well as cvd"s up front.
  6. What size is your HK motor and do you have a part number? I've been using the stock Tacon 4500kv motor and find that to be a beast. I'm always up to try new motors though. Also, has anyone seen other options for spur gears? I was looking into gearing down from the 60t to something smaller. Thanks.
  7. I've had problems in the past with the ruckus' rear differential. You may have possibly rounded out the plastic out drive gear that the drive axle goes into. If you take apart the differential, you will know what I am talking about. The drive shaft slides into the out drive gear and is attached with a screw. Make sure that screw is tight and that the plastic gear is not rounded out where the drive shaft goes into it.
