  1. Thanks bud not sure what went wrong there, hopefully works now.
  2. Hi all, Unfortunately I need to sell my Firestorm, as space and work mean I don't get to use it anymore Please find the eBay link and description below. Thanks for looking. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222158439296 I'll accept sensible offers from modelsport members
  3. Note to self: Don't show off how large a tyre balloons to, when on 3s and holding one wheel stationary. Fast way to waste money!
  4. Haven't tried 3s on pavement yet, here's it on grass.
  5. Is that on 3s? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  6. My Pro line wheels and tyres came, had to drill the wheels out slightly for them to fit the HPI hex's. I've lost a fair amount of rear track width though, which looks a bit silly and probably won't handle so well, is there such a thing as extended hex's? Thanks. P.s. 3s is f****ing insane!
  7. P.S Will a 17t pinion on 3s be quicker than the stock 19t on 2s?
  8. Just ordered me a 3s, a set of the Dirt Hawgs on Proline wheels and a 17t Pinion, as I think things will get toasty!
  9. I think I'll be able to make it. Gonna get a 3s and some new tyres for the Firestorm this week so should be absolutely mental!
  10. @Relativenewbyseb Just thinking there might be some water trapped in the foams. @alex97 Yeah gathered it wouldn't be too hard, but don't have any glue. Plus as I say, one of the rear's has a real wobble to it! Cheers for confirming they'd fit though, hopefully they'll be a bit stronger than the stock wheels too.
  11. @Relativenewbyseb Have you been in any water lately? Will these wheels go straight on to the firestorm? Realised tonight that I've managed to really buckle one side (need to stop sliding it into curbs!) and don't fancy gluing tyres myself, unless it's better to?
  12. Ah definitely don't want any more heat, it's running really hot only on 2s. I think I'll go for the Dirt Hawgs then, as long as they offer more grip than the stock rears.
  13. Just putting in an order for parts as the spur is a bit noisy from where the motor slipped and took the top off the gear, but otherwise works fine - a testament to how much this car just wants to work! Whilst I'm at it, which are the better tyres for all-round bashing? Badlands or the Geolandar's?
