  1. hello and welcome, where in Wales are you from?
  2. i'd say that it all depends on what you are running. I run rally spec electric on-road so for me, the area will have to have grit, a few bumps and a good length because i like to get a good speed going. I also like to bash in car parks that are not used too often.
  3. i have dabbled with the idea of repainting it but am scarerd of tarnishing the plastic. i was thinking of silver or black, and i tend to agree about the wing, even though i've not seen it with a wing on i think it looks better without
  4. i have no clue as to the make, it has post holes that are very close to my tt-01 and is currently in a slightly nasty purple colour, i'm about to upload the pics i took earlier
  5. i will try to take pics tomorrow of the shell
  6. i'll have to read up on how to upload pics...
  7. hi all, I have just found an Aston Martin shell in the darkest recess of a cupboard. it appears to be a db7 shape but is missing the spoiler (I bought the shell many years ago second hand and the spoiler was not supplied then) it appears to be in almost unused condition. my question is: is this a shell worth keeping hold of as a shelf queen, selling to someone who might properly appreciate it or shall I use it as a bashing shell? all thoughts welcome
  8. just this week got myself a flysky gt3c controller, not had a chance to use it much but from what I've used of it I think it is fantastic and great value for money, i'm well chuffed with it
  9. i'm really wanting a rock crawler but need to do a bit more research and a hell of a lot more saving
  10. I have just had a transmitter failure and was wondering this very question but I much prefer a stick controller and have a similar budget, please help and many thanks in advance
  11. i'm currently having troubles removing paint from a shell. i'm not too sure of the material but i'm currently using nail varnish remover and the shell appears to still be clear (ideal). progress is slow and i'm wondering if there is a tip on speeding up the process? what do you guys use to rub off the paint? cotton wool? kitchen tissue? some other stuff? also, what is best for getting the paint from by the details like bumper ridges? many thanks for your replies in advance Andy
