  1. Appreciate the advice. The reason I ask is that my son has a spektrum in his LX2E and the range is not that great for speed runs even compared to the stock Traxxas stuff. I didn't really want to fork out on a Futaba transmitter only to find the range is not good enough. I remember a guy at one of the ROSSA meets complaining that he wished he had simply bought a cheap radio as the range seemed to be better. having said all that, the range may be fantastic on the Futaba, but I have no expreince of their stuff. Cheers
  2. Hi In the process of preparing a pair of GT Cars for some Summer speed runs, with the aim being 100mph! I am looking at which radio to use. I already use an FS GT-2 set up in an Inferno Buggy and although a very cheap radio, range is never an issue. However, I have also come into possession of a Futaba R603FF Receiver of which I have no previous experience. Is it worth sourcing a suitable Futaba transmitter, or purchasing another FS GT-2 set? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
