  1. Thanks for the link, so when it comes to fitting this item to the FC do the wires come with it all or is this something I need to buy in separate ?
  2. On a different note, I plane to use a DX6i controller, when buying a receiver to fit to the F450 does it matter if I get a Spectrum one with more than 6 channels? Anyone else out there using a DX6i and if so what receiver ? Cheers
  3. Many thanks for the suggestion. Do chargers come with a selection of connections for different battery makes?
  4. Morning I am looking to buy my first Lipo battery charger. I have bought a DJI F450 kit but no battery yet. I would also like to Charge my Fat sharks batteries using this machine What recommendations could people suggest pls or things which I need to keep in mind Many thanks Mark
  5. I spend around 35 minutes a day flying around the field(7 batteries), great fun. I am struggling to use the screen on the controller mainly due to the sunlight and glare coming off it and the camera FOV is pants. In order to travel and see where your going via FPV you have to travel with a altitude around15'-20' off the ground, This puts you up in a strong breeze making it hard Work to travel forward and in a straight line. Certainly a good aid for learning on. I have ordered a pair of Fatsharks From RC Legends which should be with me tomorrow. See how that goes.
  6. I had my first FPV flight today on a school field, brilliant compared to flying round the house or the back garden. It's so much easier and you can see the full potential of the H107D. Struggled to watch the play back on the laptop when I got home. Ended up using VLC but even that didn't play them all. What are other people using to watch flight footage?
  7. Where and what type of blades are people buying for their x4's. I own a H107D FPV, can I use the older models blades for mine, going through them quicker than expected, ha
  8. Good morning. Is it true that Hubsan controllers work on different Hubsan models? Ie. FPV H107d will work with a H107c or the Q4 nano copter? Many thanks Mark
  9. Is that the best way to find out how things are done if your not sure? Do the gegs come with a guide or some sort of installation destructions
  10. Cheers Hebby I work away in the middle of nowhere in the Middle East and the internet we have is pretty pants. you tube and Facebook have been blocked to keep what bandwith wehave available for the office folk. so watching video is out the question, lol. 25 days to push before I head back to Blighty and broadband. Many thanks
  11. Question If I was to buy a dji phantom 2 RTF with the FPV wiring, receiver already installed on 5.8g. how simple would it be to connect and use fat sharks? Cheers
  12. Morning I would like to get a better understanding of the internal workings inside a quadcopter and what they do. So in the future I could use this knowledge for a self build and general fault finding. Is there books or mags on this type of stuff. Cheers
  13. Many thanks Hyper. Now I have no toy to play with for 4weeks till I get back to the uk. Ha
  14. Hi there. Just joined the forum and it's great to find a site like this full of info and advise I also have a Hubsan Q4 which I have enjoyed for the last 3 months, can't say the family feel the same way, ha. Recently one of the motors has stopped working. If you power up it doesn't rotate, give it a flick With yer finger and it starts to spin. Power down and back up again nothing. I also tried the sequence with the paddles in different positions to re calibrate the giro with no joy? Any ideas. I work away in the Middle East so I am using the time to research my next upgrade for when I get back to Blighty. I live on the edge of the new forest and have been walking the dog there for over 14 years. I know where the buzzards nest, badger sets are and where the deer like to meet. Would like to use my next quad to have a better view of them.
