  1. Hi, I'm interested in this too. Do you have a URL for where you're getting it from? What ESC you using with it? URL for that would be handy too. Cheers!
  2. Maybe Traxxas took inspiration from the automotive industry (BMW and Porsche)? Didn't BMW introduce artificial sound or "Active Sound" on the M5? :-) Not my cup of tea but can see it will appeal to many.

    Dual ESC question...

Just restoring a boat myself and come across the same questions. Take a read of this and look at the Mtroniks VTail Mixer for
  4. The Turnigy 5000mAh 2S is a perfect fit. Use these in my FTX Carnage and Vantage Pro. Just taken delivery of Turnigy 5000mAh 3S too but gonna need a shoe horn and some butter to get it in. General dimensions ok but it will be tight and will need a little mod height wise.
  5. About a week as I recall. Comes with everything you need inc Y leads to tap into motor and steering channels. When car is stationary you have "daytime running lights" and all indicators flashing. On throttle, the headlights come on. Brake lights when you, errr, brake and relevant indicators on turn. Leds are a mix of 3 and 5mm with suitable Led holder cups that clip into the shell. I was sceptical about it when ordering but very surprised at the completeness of the kit for the price.
  6. Recently purchased on eBay for my Lunchbox. A great kit and works much better than expected. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350998127420?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D350998127420%26_rdc%3D1 eBay item number:350998127420
  7. Crikey! So blooming obvious now you've said it. Cannot believe I didn't think of that! You've just saved me a lot of head scratching. Busy week at the office and my head turns to mush. Cheers buddy!!
  8. Hi all, had anyone got any suggestion on longer battery posts? Been running 2S but just got 5000mah 3S. Whilst it fits ok, the battery posts ar just a little too short to get the pins in.
  9. Recently purchased on eBay for my Lunchbox. Maybe a little overkill for what you're look for but a great kit and works much better than expected. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=350998127420
  10. Looks Great!! What shell is that? Love the colour.
  11. Thanks for the reply, answers my questions. At >
  12. Looking to get an electric "Hyper something" as 1st 1/8 buggy. Always had 1/10's. Hobao looks like the stuff for me (bashing). Was pretty set on the SSE roller or MT roller (when released) until I saw the Star and I'm now a little confused. Apart from the price, what is the difference and is the Star worth saving up the the extra
  13. Yes, this is the same as the Etronix and I also have this Leopard in another car. I went for the 9T version rather than the 12T in the Vantage. 9T is a faster but less torque than the 12T. I use the higher torque 12T in the heavier Carnage and the 9T in the Lighter Vantage buggy. Deans connectors are simple. Solder female socket to battery and male plug end to ESC. As the video suggests don't let battery terminals touch. Blow torch is a little "American overkill" for me. Basic soldering iron is sufficient.
  14. Sorry Turtletom if I'm not being very clear (looong day at the office). Think deans are sometimes referred to as t-plug. Your bang on with this.
