  1. Thank you all for the comments. i think its between a firestorm and a blitz. i think that the FTX sidewinder looks just as reliable as my trophy Rob
  2. In the past i have had a really bad experience with HPI and there parts support. I had a Trophy truggy flux. it just seemed to constantly be broken. some how i managed to sell it. ill have a look at the fire storm but as i said i'm a little apprehensive about hpi.
  3. i was just wandering if there were any scx1 groups in the south east (kent or eastsussex). Rob
  4. its probably the best
  5. Dear All, I have an axial scx10. as fun as it is, its a bit slow. i could change the gearing and motor on it but i like how well it crawls and climbs. so, i'm looking for another RC. i was looking at the ftx sidewinder but there doesn't seem to be great parts support. this leaves me with a dilemma because what i am looking for is an RC which is: cheap (sub
  6. I've had my honcho since august and since then I've changes the servo and done a bamboo mod on the steering link (PM for Pics). Now i think it is time to do an upgrade on the link set up. The lower rear links flex quite a lot and the front 3 link constantly pops out. What would you recommend? I'm thinking of going all metal 4 link inc. the steering. Thanks, Rob
  7. salt water for about 2 weeks Rob
  8. i had this problem with my scx10 and my hpi trophy. have you made sure the motor connectors are in properly? Rob

    Tank tracks

the rc4wd predator tracks are made for rock crawlers and trail truck. they are about 3 inch in height but you need the special adapters for the axle. i would try the intergy tracks. Rob
  10. I recently bought an axial scx10 honcho. I have already replaced the servo with a savox wp and changed the rx and tx to a absima cr3p (wp) and the front bumper to a rc4wd tough armour. there is also rc4wd light bar and led lights. I am looking for a new ESC and motor combo which is waterproof and a full 4 link set aswell as a new steering link. Does anyone have any suggestions? i have looked at the Vanquish link set. Rob
  11. What I mean is instead of normal steering rods they uses te dampers from something like a tt-01 or 02 and if set up right then this might cancel out the problem because it is more flexible
  12. ive seen on some cars they have dampers instead of rods- maybe that might be a solution
  13. if you want ill sell you mine, it all works and it is completely stock with some new parts
  14. a: is it a truggy or buggy? b: how many cells are you running c: when you turn it on does the motor make the 3 start noises 9 if you know what i mean) d: if you are using the stock tx are the batteries fresh e: (i found this with mine) are the rx wires all plugged in right way around and down far enough hope this helps Rob
