  1. Sorry I was wrong the car has a set point where it cuts off at a certain voltage then it's safe to charge. Right I'm going to put it on charge now and use the safe bag and see how it goes.
  2. What I did was use the multi meter on the charge socket negative on the black and used the positive on the live, that should give me each cell voltage? I might pop it on the charger and charge it up, my brother says it must be flat to charge but not compleatly flat.
  3. Hi my brother hasn't used his lipo battery in over a year I did a voltage check, it's a 3 cell lipo 11.1v. one cell measures 4volts the second cell is 8v and the 3rd cell is 12v. Is this battery safe to charge or is it toast? Thanks.
  4. Hi I just noticed that my pull start cord was saturated in oil, I took it off the engine to find lots of oil coming from the two way bearing shaft. I know that if it's leaking oil then there will be a air leak obviously, but how to I seal this up, or is it common it's a picco engine, when I had my mac. 8 and hyper 7 my pull starts were dry.
  5. That mesh front, I don't know why I like it just do, pics don't do it justice.
  6. Hi, what is your budget? I can only recommend EDS tools that's all I have, they are brilliant the hex heads have been used and abused and show no sigh of ware. I have used a set of cheap Allen keys in the past and found the metal is so soft that you end up rounding them off. Last thing I will say is don't skimp on tools for your rc because you will be using the tools a lot. Hope that helps.

    Shock springs

Would these shock socks fit? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hobao-Hyper-7-5-8-5-9-Star-Shock-Socks-Shock-Sox-/281297640280?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&var=&hash=item417ea55b58
  8. Yeah I know a proper balancer would have a good quality baring, but I just tried it out for a laugh and before I balanced the wheel I spun it on the kit an you could clearly see it shaking, after the balance it all calmed down better then nothing I guess.
  9. Hi peeps I just found a way to balance wheels on a hyper st with out the proper wheel balancer. All I did was undo the rear suspension arm by removing the 3x25mm bolt and 3mm nut then remove the dog bone. if you have the st pro you will have to remove the 5x5mm grub screw inside the hub, then drift out the 2.5mm x 16.8mm shaft that goes through the hub. Now assemble the rear suspension arm back into place then measure the length of the rod 56mm gives that rear hub a 90 degree angle, well in my eyes. At this point you should be ready for wheel balancing I did one wheel using blu tac just for test, and it works, befor I added weight you could feel wobble in the rear wing after I added the weight there was improvement.
  10. Okay my idea is to use the 60.000 and thin it down with some 25w shock oil well my last resort, first I got to do some research and find out the pros and cons in different oil weights, permanent 4x4 would be to much for me as it would be more prone to under steering, 70 % rear and 30 front I wouldn't mind.
  11. It's hyper st, nitro the only diff oil I have is CMl pure silicone 60.000 this stuff is like treacle, would this stuff be okay?
  12. That's typical I remember they looked the same, I just looked on MS site and could see the .28 is slightly different. I will keep my eyes open for it.
  13. I have 2 of them one for hyper 7 and the mac 8 I found the one for the 7 would that work for the mac?
  14. I got one somewhere I will look for it.
  15. Hey would I get away with 25w shock oil on my centre diff? If not what weight do you recommend. Would Molly grease be out the question?
