  1. Hi guys, would like to pick your brains if that is ok. A neighbour has asked me if I could kindly get this old rc working, he had no charger so I tried to put some life into the battery. And after putting it onto charge using terminal clamps, the battery started making a quiet popping sound. I have found the replacement batteries online, however I’m not sure if I’m charging the battery in a safe manner. Any help would be appreciated.
  2. Haha! looked like you got hydraulics, when power is put down. It had proper lean going on.
  3. I have a set of king Headz towers too, nice towers. Just don't want to scuff them.
  4. Yeah they are underrated, must run my eb4 s3 when I get time, been a while.
  5. Finally sorted the diff mod for the Scorpion, thanks to Attewells. Shall hopefully test it out the weekend, if the weather is nice.
  6. Thanks Sean, I have thought about that, however was going to see if anyone knew. Bit pushed for time atm, will have to strip it down if no one knows.
  7. Hi guys, Going to to get a colossus diff milled ready to put in the scorpion. Am I right in saying the cup needs to be milled down to 26mm, and to what length along the cup?
  8. Hi Gents, Has been a while since I've shown my face here, still have my BXXLVE and thinking of bringing it down from the loft for a spin once the weather warms up. I remember that one of my beadlock hex's is split and I'm thinking of splashing out on some quality ones. Was hoping to get some input from you guys. Any suggestions are appreciated as always....
  9. To take the flywheel off I use a pair of flange pliers to hold against the flywheel. And then I use the glow plug wrench on the clutch nut. (Use a rag between the pliers if you worried about scratching your flywheel). If you've been told not to fit the nut the other way round then don't. You just need to find a new clutch setup that can get you running again. Must be firestorm owners out there that can help you surely.
  10. Shame to see you struggling with this still, If I were you I would just try the clutch nuts suggested by anthoop and some new springs. Silly question but have you asked in the firestorm thread? Surely they can shed some light on this..... And also, have you tried your clutch nut the other way round?
  11. Thanks, I couldn't be arsed to install photo bucket on my new phone. But if you can zoom in some how you can see the springs are held in place by a small ridge on the clutch nut. Not saying you need this one, but a different one maybe or you current one, put on the other way around.
