I agree, don't go anywhere near the stuff, one fast way to destroy all your hard work. The turbo conversion will make it fast enough.

  5. yet another update got the turbo in and mocked up were the radiator is going to go all the driveshafts are in and is now sat back on its wheels for the time being. still to do sort the alternator brackets out finish the piping off for the coolant on the rear of the block get the inlet manifold on and plumbed weld some brackets up for the rad and intercooler and the oil cooler and some other bits and bobs oh and make a down pipe to fit and alter the screamer pipe angle
  6. cheers its taking its time but im getting there today i have manged to get the gearbox in the cams shafts in the sump on sort the turbo issue out get the bottem end oil seals in get the traction bar on sort out one side suspension and driveshaft wise and alot more stuff still left to do : TOO MUCH pictures arent great as i take them at the end of the day when its night time front view so far gearbox in and clutch slave on just a top view
  7. have the engine built back up mostly, now the seals have turned up today so may be able to get it started up (unlikly though). ran into an issue with the manifold making the turbo stick out abit to much and the wastegate touches the bonnet but never mind il flip the turbo round top view front veiw
  8. the new pistons and rods compare to the old . the engine block is currently being bored and faced and should be here by tomorrow il get it built up tomorrow and take some more pictures the new tracion bar

Out of interest have you planned out which insurer you will be going with, considering all the mods the car will have undertaken?

  11. the body work in some places is pretty bad its something i can not do. i have had a look for the wide archs but they dont seem to exist anymore i may go the fibreglass route though and make my own..
  12. 3 bar map sensor in, screamer pipe on, cylinder head put back together, new 520cc injectors wired in, headlights fixed, alarm and imobo wired in.. had quite a productive day today

14psi of boost 520cc injectors are only good for 400hpish at 55psi fuel rail pressure.

What motor? 3 Bar is 45 psi give or take. 8 x 520cc is good for more, just depends on number of cylinders (and potentially the number of injectors your running per cylinder) right! :o)

your right but the 3 bar sensor is beacause the stock map sensor can only read up to 11psi and im running a b18c4 vtec engine with forged internals with turbo @13-14psi (still building the engine) scroll to the bottom :)

  13. unfortunately not iv had to order an arch roller to see if i can make them fit if not then il raise her up a tad and get some plastic flares
  14. another update wheels have arrived but dont seem to fit oh and new radiator has arrived too
