  1. Going Second hand seems a good idea. I'll have to look into it, the DEX210 has my interest now it doesn't have many negative reviews. As for the electronics budget, I have a transmitter, servo, lipos etc....I also have a 60amp 9t brushless system I could use. What moderate priced brushless system would you guys advise as a start up? I don't want to spend hundreds before I've started.
  2. Track will probably be astro and hopefully some in door carpet. Get the feeling I'm opening up alot of if, but's and maybe here. Been looking at the Durango DEX210 I know I wanted a kit but with a 13.5 Brushless installed it looks a good deal?
  3. Hi All, Well I've talked the Mrs into getting me an R/C for Christmas! (I know its early but she likes to plan ahead!). Anyway want a kit to build really it's been a while since I've built a kit! The buggy will be used for bashing about but might want to go racing with it in the future. Been looking around and there doesn't seem to be many models about. Like the Team C Lupuz but many company's have stopped selling it. Is this the quite period before Christmas and company's start releasing new models soon? Want to go 2wd, budget is around
  4. Hi All, Seen some lipo's for sale. They're Floureon lipos has anyone used these before or know of them? I've never seen them before, but researched they're from an American company but thats it......
  5. Ah thanks! Puts my mind at rest now, didn't want to order something that was wrong and risk a fire! Cheers
  6. Hope this link works. https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__1114__85__Batteries_Accessories-Lipo_Safe_Bags.html
  7. Evening All! Really confused was hoping someone knows the answer? Hobbyking UK have 2 types of safety charge bags for sale, in the lipo safe bag section: 1. Is a white one called a Lipoly Charge bag. 2. Is a silver one called Lithium Polymer Charge bag. I'm new to using Lipo batteries so I hope this isn't a stupid question, but whats the difference? The white bag is alot cheaper to buy, I asked Hobbyking via their Facebook page what the difference was and they stated * 'They're white Both will do the job the same is something was to go wrong'*. Other retailers Modelsport, JEspares, Apex, Giant Shark etc... all sell either a silver bag or branded bag. Just cautious if I buy the white bag they wont be good enough to charge 2s Hardcase lipos in. Any help would be amazing, please? Cheers
  8. Hi Everyone, Having seen the DT-02 event happening at the end of September it has inspired me to get my HB2010 back up and running. Has anyone had any experience of a good replacement tyre to put on the wheels supllied, I ruined the tyres and they only last 5 mins............ I know the yellow wheels are not to everyones taste but I like them and want to keep the look as original as possible, has anybody had any experience with these I'd be very grateful for any advise. Cheers
  9. Hi everyone, Im hoping someone could help. I want to change the front wheels on my holiday buggy to a hex fitment from the bearing pin type. Ive seen a few adaptors for sale but I dont understand how they work, as the shafts dont have a hole for the pin to go through to hold the hex? Im very confused but havent come across any diagrams or videos showing how they fit. Can anyone help please?
  10. But they're both 4wd. Might down gear again to a 15t pinion.
  11. Took it out for a run with 18t, seems ok. But it feels slow. Ive used the same system I had in my nexx sc and that felt twice as quick. Any suggestions?
  12. Cheers I have a 18t so I'll put that in.
  13. Took it for a run this morning. Got a question to anyone who can help. I've got a 9t brushless in it with a 21t pinion. But the motor getting really hot???
  14. Evo the kit doesnt have a slipper clutch it's an up grade in the pro versions I think. Well it will be up and running by Sunday for a weeks bashing (im on holiday) so I'll report back.
  15. I've just built 1 myself because like you I wanted to build a kit and for that price couldn't help myself. It was fun to build my first 4wd build. Havent got it running yet. When it is ill post something up.
