  1. Hi there, I'm hoping someone might be able to shed some light on my latest radio problem. My Airtronics (Sanwa) MX-Sport transmitter died on me last weekend. I had been using it with RX-371 receivers (the ones it ships with) for the past 3 years - all bought from the US. So I could still use my old receivers I just bought a new Sanwa MX-V radio set (it ships with RX-37W receivers) from SMD. While the transmitter binds with them OK, it seems to have a compatibilty issue with the older RX-371 receivers, even though it clearly states in the instructions that it's "compatible with all Sanwa FHSS-2 surface receivers". The probelm is that once it's bound, when in the neutral position the steering servo has a pulsating twitch (about one a second). The twitch goes away when you start to turn the wheel to the right but stays when you turn left!! It works with the RX-37W receiver just fine so I assume it's a compatibility problem. Has anyone else had this issue or got any ideas on what's going on?
  2. Thanks guys. Just ordered the T-Bones from the US.
  3. I'm OK with the whole speed thing now with the stock battery - the EPA adjustment gets them slow enough for my needs even on 7.2V.
  4. I'm trying to make this truck as durable as possible without going crazy on the expenditure. My priority is to try and find a wider, more rigid front bumper. The stock one is about as rigid as a wet noodle and it's a question of time before frontal impacts destroy the shocks and arms. I see that T-Bone in the US make a direct replacement for about $14. Does anyone have any experience of these? If so, are they worth it? I will be running more than one MR together at the same time and am concerned that truck on truck impacts might be worse with such a bumper. I also see that RPM make a front bumper for the RC18T/MT for $7. Has anyone modded the MR for this to fit it? I'm new to this truck so if there are any "must have" durability mods/upgrades for the MR you know of please post them up. The stock drivetrain hopefully won't be an issue as I'll only be running the stock motor and with throttle EPA turned right down. The truck still scoots along at a reasonable pace though and certainly enough to destroy those flimsy shocks.
