  1. Do you have any 120mm static pressure fans or case fans? ideally I want nice quiet ones eg Noctua or higher end corsair etc.
  2. Do you have a cradle with this or any accessories (case etc?)
  3. I agree with mini-z just pick up a MVP 3 and a Aspire mini nautilus and some nice juice and that's all you need really.
  4. Nice looking bird by the way, looks like some nice ali parts on there
  5. This is worth reading and following http://www.dream-models.com/files/docs/FieldManual.pdf...don't be put off by the seemingly slow pace on getting the heli into the first hover, You do have to take things slow or you will be spending time and money on repairs rather than learning the basic knowledge of flying.
  6. The most useful tool is a swash-plate leveler, it takes out a lot of the guess work, Leveling the swash-plate correctly is probably one of the most important aspects to setting up a heli, it makes the difference between one that will hover nicely or one which will either never get off the ground (or if it does then it will usually be followed by a crash fairly quickly) Also level and balance the main blades. Its useful if your new to set some extra expo in the TX as well as it will make it a bit less sensitive on the control inputs. I have a blade 400 and dxi - not flown it for about a year now though, it takes a huge amount of patience to learn to fly these, so take very small steps. It is worth putting in the time as when you can hover it for a whole battery you will feel like a pilot god!
  7. I would be interested in the r9 280 if you split...
  8. Interesting read that phil. I really like my mvp, but the switch does let it down as it is way to stiff and just doesn't feel very nice. I must admit I do like the look of that esp, I am a sucker for carbon fibre as well though!
  9. They couldn't take off from a runway as the wing needs a lot of speed to create lift because of there tiny size, which is why they jump out of a helicopter and free fall to gain speed to gain lift..then they power up the jets to keep it at that speed where the wing is making enough lift to keep them in the air- but only just I would think. The flights only last around 15 minutes as I suspect they just can't gain altitude very easily, so eventually they run out of sky and have to land.
  10. Roadkill is one of favorite you tube shows, hugely entertaining and seem like really nice guys as well.
  11. Can't believe how strong those little magnets are, only 4mm in diameter I think I got, but by god they have some power- I'm really careful not to put them near my pc or phone as I'm sure they will wipe all the data off them!
  12. Yes, I have some tiny rare earth magnets to hold the back in place. That Domino box looks brilliant!
