  1. I've been really interested in the ftx range, the fury minus the jeep body looks good value as well as the hijack and texan. The geo is not to bad looking either.
  2. A bit of an old thread but thought I'd share my apache c1 forza front shocks and 112mm rears. running quicrun 2000kv brushless system.
  3. shame i literally just bought a x120 from hobbyking the other day. :/
  4. yes if all leads are connected and you cover any exposed connectors. i wouldn't run it on 3s mind you it would be too slow.
  5. i have the apache. the centre shafts is the only driveline components you need but mounting the shell and esc is a little more tricky depending if you are converting it to the sc or c1.
  6. i don't see why it wouldn't work as long as its calibrated. not done it myself. its just a a gyro really although they work best as far back from the front as possible
  7. Hello all i recently bought a vaterra ascender 2nd hand. I've noticed there is a bit of play between the front and rear if i hold either side of the transmission out drives. is this normal? any feedback would be great! Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  8. I have a hpi apache c1 am I welcome? If so what gearing are you guys running? I'm on 4s
  9. I'm on 4s lipo just general bashing. You think 44 spur will be too much? I'm looking for similar to nitro speed which is about 40-45?
  10. Hi I'm unsure what gearing to run on my hpi apache c1 (vorza drive train) at the moment I'm running 48 spur with 16 pinion. It's definitely too slow, motor gets on the hot side but battery and esc are cold. I know that I should go higher but I'm not sure how high with a 2000kv motor? Any help appreciated ! Thanks Evan.
  11. Hi all ive purchased a apache c1 roller which is pretty much the same as the vorza. Im wondering what motors will fit in the stock mount? if my options are limited is there any other mounts that would fit without breaking the bank? i know absima make a conversion kit for the d8 which should work. I could try using the trophy flux mount with a little modification? any feedback is appreciated!
