  2. Remove the engine and radio tray. Give it a good wash, spray with GT85 and then wipe that off. After racing I use a power jet washer to clean the buggy. Some people use the kitchen sink and some use the dishwasher, although it's recommended you ask before using the dishwasher as an angry woman is not a pleasant experience. If it's been some time since the diff oils were changed then it's a good idea to change them whilst the car is stripped down. They maybe working fine, but the oil will get contaminated from general wear of the gears.
  3. For that sort of money I'd go for an OS Speed every time. You'll get a 12 minute run easily. The Novarossi Plus 4 is also a very good engine.
  4. Just a normal party balloon. Place the receiver inside it as it keeps out any moisture that may get inside the radio tray.
  5. Check the brakes are adjusted correctly. If when the throttle is closed the brake is ever so slightly engaged it will cause some twitching because of the pressure.
  6. Yes oil the outer too. Don't leave them dripping. Get them well oiled in a plastic bag then dab them with some kitchen towel to remove excess oil and they're good to go.
  7. Haha. The wife used to moan about them taking up so much room and way too much money, but after a few years she realised she was fighting a losing battle and just accepted them. I converted a spare room into my workshop, where I also build museum quality doll houses on commission. I'm struggling for room and so half the bedroom is used for storing some of the cars I very rarely run. I think there's probably bits and pieces in every room of the house.
  8. Just make sure the inner and outer are well oiled and avoid puddles where you can.
  9. I dare not think of how many I've had over the years. lol I've got roughly 20 at the moment covering most classes, except short course. I really must get myself a SC this year.
  10. You'll notice that on packaging it says something along the lines of "this is not a toy". Reason for this is the model would have to go through extensive and very expensive testing to be sold as a toy. They would fail these tests because of small detachable parts. Therefore they are sold and marketed as models. In reality they are toys, albeit very expensive toys, but toys all the same. I started when I was 6 years. I'm now 44 years old and still playing hard. :-)

zebrevo has hit the nail on the head. The contract is between the retailer and the customer. The glider should have been returned to the retailer.
  12. If the problem is the wheel wearing out then changing batteries isn't going to make the slightest bit of difference. It sounds as though you haven't lined up the truggy on the box properly and the wheel is rubbing on the chassis. Remove the engine and realign so that when the truck is pressed down the wheel doesn't rub the chassis. Also make sure the engine isn't at top dead centre as the pinch plus compression will make it hard to start turning it over. The main problem with the Losi box is the drive belt snapping. It's a known and long running issue.
  13. Heating the engine before every start for it's entire life will keep it going for much longer than always starting cold. That's why racers always like to use an engine heater.

Mine's shaved all the time. It's weird at first but you soon get used to it.
