For sale is my Hot Bodies Lightning GT with electric rotor start. The truck itself is a few years old bought from Modelsport brand new. since then its had a new engine (which has been through 3 tanks of fuel since break in) it hasn't been started in around 2 years, i just tried it now by putting some fuel in the carb and it started straight away! comes with original box HIP TF-3 transmitter + crystals All radio gear electric starter and battery glow plug starter 1 litre of fuel (3/4 full) 4x standard shocks with emaxx springs 4 custom shocks and xtm racing spring (which are fully adjustable) stardard bodyshell bad points missing front drive shaft - easy fix - can be run in 2wd broken front hub which has been glued together but again an easy fix other than that its a great truck which I've had a lot of fun with. However it is used, and will require some maintenance as per bad points above. but very easy fixes which i can do with negotiation. any questions do ask, open to offers *photos taken when engine was getting replaced, now installed.*

eerrrm, no not really! engine has always started first time everytime without fail! just the driveshaft but i just shoved a load of rubber o rings in the cups and there fine, oh and a couple of wheel bearings, if the wheel seems wobbly but the nut is tight this is what it will be. cheers, J

ther will be a screw that holds on a tie rod, with can adjust you camber. undo that and you will be able to pull the driveshaft out, then where the dogbone ends of the shaft go into the cups just place the rubber "O" rings there to try and space out the shaft; thus helping out with wobble! cheers, J

tip dont brake when trying to slide or when you are sliding becuase you will just spin, very nice car! i wish i had the money!

well ive spent the last two nights modifiying and cleaning my gt10, i blew the engine about 8 months ago and have only just got round to getting a new engine, so i thought i would clean it up! firstly i resprayed the wheels becuase i always hated the tacky chrome that flakes! so satin black with red wheel nuts (still needs lacquer in the pic) heres an overview i have the car on full adjustable shocks which means i can have very soft ride and a low center of gravity for better handling on road. and a few mins later have then tweeked for biiigggg jumps. the blue ali shocks are XTM racing with Traxxas emaxx springs and the other 4 are Emaxx shocks on xtm racing springs. iam really looking forward to getting going again! any comments welcome! cheers, J

hey there, i have the gt10, and i also hate the taky chrome! lol so i resprayed mine black with red bolts, it looks ace! plus its alot cheaper to refurb them instead of buying new ones cheers, J

hey guys! iam currently rebuilding and sproosing up my lighting gt10, i would really like to repaint the bodyshell that has been pre painted from the factory, now i have no problem with spraying and occationally do some work spraying on real cars, i could get a good shine but as soon as i roll it, it will be buggered again so is there a way to strip the factory paint so i can spray the inside as you would with a clear shell? would nitromors work or whould it just melt the shell??? any help is much appriceiated cheers. with drifting defently electric. nitro's can overhead quickly and tend to have to much top end power instead of bottom end torque needed.

cheers! its only tongith ive really got back into rc's ive had thenm for the past 5/6 years im now 17. but over the last 2 years they have just been sat, so blow away the dust and lets go drifting! lol

custome made led's for my tt-01d

hey iam new, ive got a tt-01d subaru impreza i built. it has blue annodised center shaft, nosram hawk revese esc, 19t motor , 3700mah battery and pvc tyres and a few other touches.. these were taken shortly after i built it, its now got a bit more positive camber on the rear. ive also got a youtube vid of my cars leds, which i made and set up myself. some of you may have seen check out the big HKS logo!
