  1. Hi thanks for the offer but don't really want another Jun Watanabe hornet. but would love to see some pics of yours built if you have any
  2. When I was little my first ever rc car was a Tamiya Hornet, it was awesome and I loved it. So a few years back I wanted another, not to really use much, though would be cool to let my son have a go. My sons mum (my ex now) brought me the limited edition Jun Watanabe Hornet. I do love the look of it but it is still sat in the box as I can't bring myself to build it and definetly not run it. I am torn between leaving it in the box forever, building it and risking ruinning the body (Im not great at them) or selling it (no idea what it's worth) and buying a stand version to build and spray the body purple just as mine was all those years ago, and hopefully have enough left over to buy something me and my son can have fun with. My question is what would you do?
  3. do you know how strong they are and if they are any good been having lots of problems with them recently. didn't have any problems for years and now it seems every time i go out at least 1 fails on me
  4. Hi I'm after a front cvd or dog bone for and original scx 10
  5. Out of interest would you trade for a tamiya?
  6. Damn AJ thats nice, really makes me wan to build something nice
  7. AJ I've still got the scx10 you sold me still runs great. Yeah gaz definitely be good to catch up, won't be bringing the little man to the nats for a few years yet though.
  8. Thanks I'm sure I'll enjoy it too lol. just got to stop myself for going brushless before he can drive
  9. Hi was on here many years ago and even wennt to quite a few of the big meet up's. really enjoyed bashing but then got in to mainly drifting and crawling. I had a son 4 years ago and haven't had the tome or money since to play with rc cars. However he in now just big enough to hold a controller and has enjoyed using mu scx10. I'm looking at getting somwthing a bit quicker to play with too as i think he'll enjoy that more.
  10. Have been away from rc for a while after having a son he is finally big enough to hold a controller and has enjoed a few runs of my scx10, but i want to get him something a bit quicker and think he will enjoy it more. After much searching and thinking what to get for him to try, I came across this thread. The brushed vantage looks a great choose. Thanks for all the info here
