Think I might invite myself :P

No photos at the moment, but I prefer to run stock stuff. Less breakages to more expensive stuff.

So the broken stuff:

  • Rear Hub
  • 3x Steering Knuckles
  • Wing Mount
  • Suspension Arm
  • UJ Driveshaft
  • 3 Rear Axles
  • SF-1 Servo
  • Servos Horns (Lost Count)
  • Bell Crank (Now Aluminium)
  • Rounded a hex
  • Shock Caps

So yeah, I've done well. Although well sorted for spares after buying a roller!

three steering knuckles! i thought me and walls were bad, ouch. and how do you round a hex btw?

dont know, think I may have bodged together a hex pin using a nail which wasnt the right size and that caused it but to be honest i dont have a clue!

Also, you may want to consider cleaning your air filter its filthy!

nice filter ipenhale... lol, i dont clean my car often, cant be bothered. I just keep it a bit dirty so people know you use it off-road. A lot.

fortunately the shell manages to escape the damage, just dont look at my spoiler.

This is a good idea. I've not got one yet, but after driving one of our members on Sunday, one is definitely on my list.

Heres some pics of Stuarty's, I'll need to get him on here as well

His is totally stock for now. All he has broken is the servo saver, some of my snazzy super glue fixed it enough for him to get a bit of run time at the track till he gets a couple of new ones. Theres a wee vid of it in the videos section as well.

Good point, thats something I could do with doing, do you know what parts are needed? If you can get them off of Modelsport then that'll be brill.

wheel hex conversion is unecessary and a waste of money

do roto starts fit well, or do you have to modify to make it work? love these trucks, and really want one B)

No they fit right on.

But when it comes down to the shaft. The shorter one can be used but its awkward and sometime slips out. Cutting a bit of the rear bumper can solve this. Or you can get the xl shaft

Has anyone here got a 3-shoe clutch? And do metal shoes help? They're much more expensive, but worth it?

I've had clutch problems recently, it seems to "drag." It's been taken apart and looks fine, the spring is still on one piece and it looks ok apart from the odd bit of wear.
